Normal started out slow until I could use a 'Leaf' staff, at which point Fireball basically demolished everything. Later switched to a Razorswitch until I could put on my Occy. Went with the Act 5 merc since I had never used one before. Although I would have preferred it if he was a little less eager to get himself killed at times, he was able to hold his own rather well and his Stun skill is sweet.

Nightmare was pretty smooth going, except for the Ancients, which took me a lot of tries (and a couple of deaths <_<) to pass. Hellforge dropped either Ko or Lum, I believe.

Hell was done mostly on either /p1 or /p3, depending on the area. Pit runs pushed me to level 79, then I blazed through and farmed Meph until 81 (got my first Vipermagi that way, so the 'Stealth' came off and my resists became decent >_>). Diablo was easy, in no small part due to my LR wand IMO (hugs the Wand of Champ/Unique Slaying >_>). Farmed Pindleskin to 83 before finally ripping through the rest of Act 5. Hell Ancients were about a 10 minute fight because my merc died pretty much right off the bat, so it came down to me dropping blizzards and teleporting around until 2 of them were dead, then switching to fireball for the damned cold immune leaper. Never really came close to dying there, but it was slower than I would have liked. Only difficulty after that was a Extra Strong/Cold Enchanted/Spectral Hit Lister (FI/CI), who I had to park after he kept 2HKOing my merc. Ip fell to Baal, Baal fell to LR+Bliz/Fireball. He gave a decent drop this time:

Sadly, the Hone Sundan was not ethereal...again -_-. Other notable finds were a Pul from Hell HF and a Stormspike from Pindle (not that it looks like an impressive weapon, but it is my first one >_>).

Fairly fun overall. I was a little worried about how lightly synergized my attacks were, but the combination of a powerful timered skill and a spammable skill ripped through anything not immune to both. Anyway, I'll probably use her for Ancient Tunnels and Baaling, though I honestly do not expect to do too much of either any time in the near future.

Next on the horizon: probably matting my MA/FA/Strafe zon, or one of my many druids >_>.

Looks like you built your Blizzball well. The results always show when built well.

Just one suggestion. You have a total of 100% FCR. Take it to 110% FCR, and you'll be able to cast at 8 fpc. Perhaps substitute the amulet for a rare with 10% FCR? Or socket a Lidless Wall with a pDiamond, and then you can lose a 10% FCR ring but still be able to cast at 8 fpc.

Yes, it's at 105% FCR. But most standard FCR items (unless they are a crafted caster ammy, Spirit's 25-35% FCR, etc.) come in increments of 10%.

EDIT:
I guess I should have said 105%, instead of being lazy and said 110%.

Yeah, I actually had a crafted caster belt that I was going to put on her with 7% FCR, but as I said, I kept forgetting about it.

There was a bug, atleast on battle.net (Possibly even in any form/shape of MP?) with the 105 FCR breakpoint which meant that you had to go a little higher than 105 in order to hit the actual BP. It looked as if that BP was lag-dependant somehow and would skip some casts if your ping wasn't superlow.

I also have a nice wand with LR charges but never really used it. Can you tell me what the repair costs of the charges are like?

hmm, why skip meteor? when he have like +10 skill on gear, then he will have a better dmg on fireball?

If you skip Meteor and max FBolt instead, FBall will do a little more damage, and you save 4 skill points. That's for people who don't like using Meteor.

I personally would not contemplate not using Meteor, and I'm happy to have a slightly less powerful FBall for a Meteor that does over 2x the damage of FBall. But then, I like Meteor.

Offhand, I think around 1.5k-2k per charge. I know it is cheaper than Teleport.

Personally, I found Meteor great for using against packs of cold immune ranged enemies as they tend to stand still so long as I just bob and weave at a distance to dodge their shots. It was easier for me to only drop 5 Meteors on a group of archers than to use 10+ Fireballs. Not to say that is was not useful against pretty much any cold immunes, but that was the simplest application and it makes a fairly big difference in your margin for error with evading (at least with my playing style >_>).

fireball get 14%dmg from both firebolt and meteor

and it will cost ju 3 skills to get meteor, but if u have +3 skills u will get the same dmg as if u had maxed firebolt right?

okey, my english are not that good but ill try to explain

lets say that you have +10 skills on gear.

fireball MAX
firebolt (1skill)+10 = 154%fire dmg
meteor (17skill)+10 = 378%fire dmg
= 532%fire dmg

fireball MAX
firebolt (20)+10 = 420%fire dmg

plz explain if im wrong o_O

the +10 to Firebolt won't add damage to the Fireball, only hard skill points (the 1 in Firebolt, so 14%) will.

edit: Congrats on the Mat. How was Ip's damage?

The repair cost for 1 charge of Lvl2 Lower Resists is 2.4k.

Merc screen shows 1018-1950. Of this, 233-482 is fire damage from Flamebellow. He also has a 25% chance of open wounds. In play, he was able to handle most FI/CI bosses (with telekinesis help) on /p1 (Lister was the big exception to this, but given his mods, that should not be much of a surprise <_<). At higher players settings, I usually just teleported away rather than seeing how long he would take to kill them.
