    Material happiness is teh best!

Allright I finally did it! Yesterday I bought the parts and assembled my new pc! Here are the specs:

    AMD 64 3200+ Processor
Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe Motherboard (Supports Dual PCI-e VGA cards)
Asus ATI Radeon X600 128 Mb PCI-express gfx card
    512 MB DDR400 RAM
160 Gb Segate Barracuda SATA Harddrive
    DVD RW drive
    Shiny new case
    Half Life 2 =)

Actually I expected more trouble putting it together. According to my previous exeriences there is always something that doesnt work or fit, but it just went smooth as ice. Incredible.

It's totally awesome I love it! Compared to my old pc (Pentium 3 700) the performance boost is insane. I got HL2 because everyone said it soooo good and after trying it out a bit I can only agree. Only too bad all the WoW copies where sold out at the moment or I'd be playing it right about now. Plans for next month is getting an additional 512 Mb RAM and a TFT monitor..

Well just had to brag a little. Feel free to do the same!

    quoted from my friend:
'back in the day they had a computer that was advertized to have 8 megs of RAM and the selling point was "8 megs, more than you'll ever need!"'

8 meg, wtf. I remember redoing my autoexec like 245345345345 times so I could get 608 of 640k ram free to game at maximum speed.
