Matador: Still Viable?

    Matador: Still Viable?

    So far I'm in NM (lv 61 I think not at Diablo II atm) and I'm still killing at an acceptable rate. I'm using perfect aura'd Bramble, Edge, Spirit of barbs lv 13 from Bramble, and Iron maiden ~lv 8. I use skeles to help spread damage around since, by yourself you are pathetic. (I'm playing on /p8) On /p1 it's TOO FAST!?!? I use Fire Golem (just to hold aggro). Anyone else have this kinda skill with a Matador? Or am I the only lonely?

    You'd be better off casting Amplify Damage (Damage Resist -100%) rather than Iron Maiden: level 36 Thorns returns 1,650% damage and level 13 Spirit of Barbs returns 290% for a total of 1,940%, which AD effectively doubles against DR 0% to 3,880% (1940*(100-(0-100))/100); level 71 IM (1,950%) would be required to surpass this, a currently impossible level, and it only has a 4 2/3 yard radius regardless of level (level >5 AD surpasses this).

    It gets worse as DR % increases: against DR 50% level 36 Thorns, level 13 Spirit of Barbs and AD would return the equivalent of 2,910% (1940*(100-(50-100))/100) damage, while level 36 Thorns, level 13 Spirit of Barbs and level 59 IM (1,650%, the maximum currently possible without a Skill Shrine) would only return the equivalent of 1,795% ((1940+1650)*(100-50)/100).

    Well I know that DR% will make it a pain, and I thought about using amp but thought it only amped "attacker takes damage of xx" Not thorns or Barbs.... I'll do that instead.
