Many computer problems all of a sudden

I've been having many computer problems lately...

    #1 - Computer freezes about 3 times/day
#2 - When I click the restart button after a freeze, it takes much longer than usual for Windows to load
#3 - Every so often, one of my cd slots doesn't open
#4 - When #3 happens, I can't use the CD in the disabled slot
(ie: I click the d2 shortcut and it says there's no disc inserted)

I'm not sure if this has to do with anything, but I had Gunbound installed in my computer. Ever since "Nprotect" was added in a patch, my computer has been freezing many times. I looked it up in google and it turned out to be spyware... So I uninstalled Gunbound.

I have Ad-aware, Spybot, and A². Norton was deleted a while ago by some spyware, so I don't quite have a virus scanner. (Unless A² counts as one)

I'm pretty sure the problems have something to do with Nprotect, since many other people playing Gunbound have been complaining about computer crashes...

Could anyone please tell me what's wrong and how I could fix these problems?

    Thanks

Get McAfee. Install and run. Delete gunbound and hunt them down. Come back to some Blizzard games. Defrag. Run spybot.

When a computer slows down and/or freezes, the cause can be spywares or viruses;scan the hard drive, delete temporary files, cookies, registered websites, and run disk clean up

Yeah, i really dont see the point in formatting the admins hard drive either. But then again back in high school it was just something to do.
