The Poison dagger bug no longer works as you can see in this thread. It will make it impossible to get your AR up high enough to be able to hit an opponent reliably. PvP with a Meleemancer is not very likely.

meleemancers are the schnizzle however they probably can't schnizzle their way effectively into PvP.

The two that would have the best chance IMO would be a psn daggerer and a widowmaker archer.

Archer: load up on faster R/W and either lots of elemental damage or lots of physical damage and GA them to death.

The psn daggerer would be as many +skills as possible whilst maintaining faster than average R/W and a strong bone armour.

race in and as they pummel your armour you stab them and take off. repeat a second time and one very dead something. riskier on casters.

Poison Daggermancer should be called a viper then. Strike, then run away. Maybe even that poisonous fish that they eat in Japan.

You will probably aim at maxing PDagger and the synergies. The difference is in the equipment. For a physical Daggermancer you'll want a different dagger and some gear that focuses on getting CB, DS and OW. You'll also need to invest in BA and synergies in order to get a strong BA since you'll be in contact longer.

The poison Daggermancer focuses on getting equipment that enhances the poison side of things. BA isn't as needed since you'll be in contact for only brief amounts of time. Pumping you FHR and FR/W are a good idea. Both builds can be very viable.
