Making an .09 Zealot

I've been thinking of making an .09 Zealot for something to do, even though I know he would be weak compared to a Zealot using new items. It would be mainly just for fun, and nostalgia. Here are the items I'm thinking:

Weapon: FFK? I can't really think of what other weapons zealots used in .09, besides b-star for the poor ones.
Armor: G-Bane? I was thinking maybe Valor, but on battle.net it says Valor only spawns in 1.10 or later. Did they change it from .09 to .10?
Shield: SS/HoZ
Helm: Gaze
Gloves: Venom Grip
Boots: Gore Rider/Waterwalk
Belt: T-gods/string
Rings: 2 Ravens or Raven/BK
Amulet: Highlords/Cat's Eye

No Anni/Torch of course.

Not sure what I would do about skills. I guess I could try to avoid synergies as much as possible.

So what do you guys think?

I think Schaefers hammer was very popular.

Skills, maxed zeal, and fana. You can also put points into FoH, since it will do without synergies (I think)

Zeal/Fanat/Holy Shield are must have skills. You can put them into blessed aim for the passive AR bonus(do believe this worked in .09, please correct if I'm wrong). The res. auras are always willing to take a few extra points off of your hands. Schaefers was used back then, wasn't too popular because it was hell to get your hands on one. Lastly, I do believe that valor was in the game at .09, if you don't go with valor, stick with shaft.

Valor was around back then - Blizz just changed its mods a little in 1.10 and that's why it now says only in 1.10 or later. It's been around since at lease 1.08. G. Angel was around and plentiful in 1.09.

Both Valor and G. Bane had lvl reqs of 85 to use then as they do now - you might find yourself in a G. Angel or something anyway while waiting to put on one of these. Depends on how you plan to create this guy.

Baranar's star and Lightsabre were also very common paladin weapons in .09, ie probably 70% of zealers used one of those two weapons.
Shaeffer's was definitely around, and is definitely better, but it was very expensive.

In terms of survivability, I would think Hoz/Shaft would be a better combination than SS/Valor, plus its usable much earlier, meaning you might be able to access them before reaching areas where zeal will start to lose effectiveness in .10 hell.
A vengeance/conviction build would probably have a better chance in .10 using .09 gear, but obviously if you never made one of those, the nostalgia factor won't be there.

I was trying to think of the weapon I used, and it just came to me. I used a Fury Mythical Sword. I think my final weapon will eventually be FFk or Fury Myth Sword. The problem is, I'm doing this on ladder, and I'm not gonna want to waste a Jah Rune for Fury. I'll probably just go with B-Star until I can afford to use a Jah for this.

I would do it on non-ladder, but I just started playing again, and I'm only playing ladder. So unless someone who is really rich on NL wouldn't mind providing me with these items, I have to do it on Ladder.
