Making a bowa, need advice

Hey all, basically I quit about 2 years ago and once again I feel the call of Diablo, so I'm back. Amazon is the only char that I've never made before, so decided that it's time to give it a go. I just going to be casually PvM'ing with this char, so you can ignore the lack of PvP perspectives.

I want to make a Bowzon, so I had a look through some of the threads in this forum and Rylix's guide appealed to me the most. I put it together in Hero Editor, but I've still got some issues.
First of all, the 2 weaknesses of that build:
a) Kills bosses very slowly, due to lack of CB%. So I went with gores for a bit, which meant losing 10 stats (to make up for STR) and quite a bit of damage from Travs. In the end, it did not look like a good bargain, due to the effect of diminishing returns on ranged CB%, so I went back to Travs.
b) My gear choice had no Knockback, but that was not a major issue.

This is what I am planning to use. Cost is not a problem since I still have all my FG.
Helm: M'avina's 15% IAS +xx jewel, will switch once I get a nice 3os helm for 15%/40%s
Chest: Forti AP
Bow: Faith GMB
Belt: Nosferatu
Rings: Raven + rare dual leech
Gloves: Laying of Hands
Boots: Wartravs
Neck: Cat's eye

So basically, I hit the 95% IAS breakpoint with lvl 13+ Fana from Faith. FHR% is not a problem since this is for PvE.

1) What should I have on switch? From playing around in Hero Editor, I felt like CTA will not add that much since I hardly ever got hit.
2) Skill distribution? I decided to leave out Strafe, go ~14 skills in Multi Shot and max GA for single target and max Magic Arrow. 1 in all passives, where to invest the rest? I still have loads of points left. I was thinking about investing in passives while they still give me 2% per skillup.

Thanks :)

CB is only 1/20 hp removed on ranged attacks I think, have you tried atma's amulet for the CtC amp? Or maybe give your merc Reaper's Toll and Gullaume's Face because he's melee.

You might want to use andy's helm (as long as looks aren't important). Put a 15%ias/fire res jewel in it.

But yeah not sure what to do about skill points if you don't plan on maxing strafe.

use a harmony bow on switch. the extra frw boost from vigor is really nice when running long distances or when in town.

I would definitely max valk - she is an awsome tank and very nice to divert monsters attention away from you and your merc.

Not gone use Atma, will be too much of a hassle.
Need Pride for Conc aura, so no Reaper's, but Guillaume's is an option, cheers. Even though merc will lose quite a bit of ll%.

No, since I will drop by an IAS% breakpoint.

I was thinking about using Harmony, that's definately an option.

Actually, I think that I will invest the rest of the points in avoid skills, so I can do some nice PvP when I get enough FG together for charms.

Thanks anyway, and if you any more comments, let 'em rip.

Well, there's going to be a new plan. I got my hands on a decent 4sox armor with +life, so I'm going to use that instead of Forti.
The idea is to use:
60% IAS armor and Cat's Eye, which will get me to 80% IAS. One 15%IAS jewel in helmet and off I go.
Question is, which helmet to use? Right now, I'm thinking of Shako with a 15%/ed% jewel? Which other helms are there out for bowas, which don't have IAS% on them? CoA would be nice for PvP, but the STR requirement is too much of a killer.
Bow: still Faith GMB
Belt: Since I don't need Nosferatu for IAS% any more, Razortail? How should I change my skill allocation then? Or maybe Verdungo or something else? Although, this build is meant to be geared for max damage.
Boots: still Wartravs.
Rings: Raven 20 + dual leech ring
Gloves: no idea what to put here? Thinking about Cleglaw's for Knockback and slow%. Yay or nay?
