Magic find sorceress

My sorceress is level 51 and from what I am hearing it would appear that most of you are suggesting that I run nm Baals rather than Meph. I have a spirit sword and can gear up a bit more to have a much higher Orb. Rather than use the Shard. The only thing that bothers me about Baal is the Gloams. I don't know if I can teleport through them or should just walk. It isn't too safe even with maxed lightning resists.

Suggestions?

You should check socialims guide for TK/Orb sorc. And get the info you need out of it.
For my nm sorc that i'm building up i'm going for :
Max res in nm
Max block or close to it
27%Faster Block Rate
30%FHR
63%FCR at least
Max orb
lvl 12 Cold Mastery
lvl 1 ES
lvl 16 TK

At least 500HP. Once i get that, i'll run Baal nm. Block rate and Hit recovery are very important. Also when you tp, hold down the mouse bouton and press alt(default key) to see items, so you don't stop while teleporting.

Dont forget there is always the option of "teleporting gear" and "killing gear" if you are in sad shape with gear. depends on what you have where, but those ORTs work great in helms and armor and Topaz in a shield might help.

At 51ish i think I would start off walking and killing the exp is excellent there and you should kill very well then progress towards teleporting. Just judge the lvl spawns, some are easier to teleport thru than others and IIRC there are always (3) types of foes but "minions" dont count.

My sorc is lvl 53, and act5 nm.
I'm planning to get her to lvl 62 before starting to MF as i have Wizzy and Shako on a mule. Il also have TO gloves, dwar star and a Bahamut ring, 16 all res ammy, Prismatic bone shield of deflection (60%block 34all res with socket), Tal eth armor, nat boots, a 55 life belt and a 15 all res helm.
I have max res in nm right now, but once i get Wizzy i should be able to get rid of some res gear for more MF.
Still haven't found a 4 sock polearm :cry: , so can't make any insight yet.
I also have an ist rune on a mule. So there is my question, what you guys think i should trade my ist for to get my MF sorc stronger?

I think you should socket that Wizzy and drop the IST in there for a very sexxy weapon ....

i'm planning on getting a weapon switch for MF, so that won't do it. Besides my wizz is already socketed with some ouly jewel (i got it really cheap).

Solo MFer can always use Oak from one of those rings........just a thought, not a must but its pretty nice.
