Another question, I socketed my Lycander's but haven't filled it yet. Will an empty socket interfere with the ability to upgrade?

No. And neither will a full one.

OT, Lycander's is a very nice bow, but it's slow when compared to its exceptional competitors (WWS, Goldstrike, Riphook) and lacks the huge damage of the WF. Still, good damage, leech and skills will ensure the upgraded Lycander's a place among the best bows imho.

I think Lycanders is one of the best (if not the) best allrounder bow. Decent damage, +skills and mana leech. You can build pretty safely around it.

I found that with my Eaglehorn/Kuko/Skystrike..whatnot builds, I was almost in constant mana demand.

Lyc's has always been one of my favorite bow...it, like Buriza, is a staple workhorse bow that most any Bowazon build can use. Awesome mods, decent damage (wish I could upgrade mine) and it's got a decent speed that is easily amped with ias gear, which you'll most likely have.

It's definitely a great bow..one of the best all around bows.
