Lvl 60 cap PvP

Hi!
My friend and I duels a bit. We've sat a lvlcap at 60. What would YOU choose to play if you couldn't pass 60 and couldn't quest at Hell at all?

My friend plays a cold elemental druid and a bone necro which both are hard to beat. Also. I don't have mad items. So exclude Sojs and elites from the reccomendations.

Barb. I can't see any level 60 char save for a sorc posing a problem for a grief/fort level 60 barb.
Desynch Hammerdin?
Grief, Forti, Exile Smiter?

yeah but even these classes lose to a barb if the barb knows how to play smiters in general are not the biggest threat, the desynch hammerdin well depending on both char skills it could go just about either way.

You don't need to be rich to make a fireball sorc.

Wizspike, vmagi, peasant crown, 3 fire skills amulet, gloom's trap

Thanks for all the input!
I was thinking about either a Whirlwind barb or a Orb/hydra sorc but Fireball sounds good too.

If I was to do a Whirlwind barb. Would it be better to do swords (of which I have none) or maces (of which I have plenty (Bonesnap, BT Stump, 2* Aldurs etc))?

Also, I've been led to believe that Kickass(assins) are good in their 50s and around lvl60. Sadly enough, I am then unable to wear upgraded XXX or the elite Scarabshell Greaves as well as many elite unique boots. Is the class salvagable?

With your level of gear, I would strongly suggest going with a sorc of some kind. You won't deal near the damage of some of the richer duelers since I doubt you have a load of skill charms and runewords are out of the question for you.

Fireball or Blizzard sorcs are probably the most effective with cheap gear, I would recommend the Fireball sorc if the Elemental druid you are facing has a high level Cyclone armor. The necro shouldn't be too hard if skill is equal as his bone prison can be ignored by your sorc and I doubt you can afford an Enigma so a sorc is the only class that can do this with ease. An assassin (most likely a kicker) is one of the few other classes that can.

You could also try a trapper provided your friend doesn't absorb you as trappers are considerably easier to negate than sorcs.
