    Lurker turning poster

Well, my name is Ambrodel, which was given to me by some friends of mine during EQ days. I have lurked around here for several years, and I finally decided to introduce myself. I've played Diablo II since it came out and LOD since that came out. I have never played on b.net, probably since SP can be played when I want and how I want. There is nothing like playing on my laptop while laying in bed, or at the in-laws house when we visit for the weekend. I am married and we are expecting our first minion later this year.

I am partial to the sorcs and necros. My current sorc is a lvl 73 blizzballer. She is not doing to bad in Hell, still in Act I. My fishymancer is lvl 83 and about to take on Durial. Trying to complete my self-found-grail is what keeps me playing.

I am working for a major PC manufacturer as a development technician. My favorite sport is footbal, not American football. The EPL is my favorite league with La Liga a close second.

Anyway, that is who I am and I look forward to contributing what I can to the SPF.

Don't worry, I have read the Stickies and FAQs several times. Actually I use them as a reference guide for any questions I might have. After years of playing I still find useful information in them.

Btw, I forgot to tell you that I am wearing my Cloak of Shadows for invisibility. Oh wait, that is the wrong game.

Not entirely! The Assassin has a skill called "Cloak of Shadows" which is an awesome skill to use in multiplayer games. I hear the other players love it when the whole screen goes dark!

Actually, Harley Clark introduced the sign at Texas in 1955. The corna didn't start appearing in rock music until around the 1960's.

Are you referring to the "westside" gesture?

"westside" gesture? anyway, it just looks like the sign of the hand when people sing hip hop song, with the last finger and pointer finger held up, the middle two hold it down and the thumb remain outside the clutch.

The Hook 'Em Horns symbol looks a lot like the rock symbol as deaddave pointed out. I guess it just depends on where you are and how it is used. Here in Austin it only has one meaning. It certainly beats the Texas A&M symbol of a big thumbs up!
