Lower Resist question

I know this is probably a stupid question... but I have to ask anyway because I can't seem to find a clear answer.

The Lower Resist description says that it lowers 'resist all'. So, does this lower non-elemental magical resistance (ie will it be of any use to my bonemancer), or physical resistance?

If it doesn't do anything for Bone Spear, would you think Decrepify is worth getting for a bonemancer?

Lower resist used to lower magically dmg (in .09) , but now its only the fire/ice/lightning/poison.

Decrepify is an excellent curse for a bonemancer. You should definately place at least 1 point in it, and prolly a few more if you don't have too many items with + to skills.

You can also try out using the AI curses (dim vision, attract, confuse), which are of great help.

If you plan on dueling, 1 point in iron maiden is also a good idea.

Decripis is good in that it slows the monster and reduces their dmg, but i find attract to be a better spell. It keeps the monsters better occupied for a longer duration of time, and they stop coming at you. In higher acts, its also better becuase i find the dmg to be too low so more time to kill monsters is better for you.

I'm a big fan of cunfuse and dim vision. Attract has it's uses , but the range is rather limited. Dim vision vs ranged attackers (gloams / black souls for instance) makes them easy prey. Against large mobs confuse gives you instant tanks that you can kill.

For teamplay you usually use amp / decrep / LR most of the time , because you don't really need tanks there. But even there Dim vision has it's uses. (everybody still seems to die vs black souls. )
