Re: Lots of Skill GCs for trade
Prices here =/= prices elsewhere
Really? It makes perfect sense that the prices are dictated by the economy run on the server, not by what forum you frequent.
If anything, JSP's prices are far more accurate than anyone else's price system because there are so many transactions that happen every day. There just more transactions that happen in 1 day on JSP than there are here in a month most likely.
So yeah, I think JSP's prices are far more accurate to the current state of the economy. I mean, some people still refer to Scoob's guide here for their price checks... but this guide was for LAST ladder season! This economy is totally different!
I am quite convinced that good skiller GCs such as Cold, Fire, Lightning, Javalin, Warcries, etc. are worth Ist. All the evidence points to this - whether that's JSP or even if you made a random game on the server. So I will not trade those for less than Ist. I am more flexible on the other ones, because they are not as popular.
I like to trade here because the community is better in a lot of ways, but I also don't want to just give away my hard work either. If I sell my item finds for 1/4 of what they are actually worth, that means I have to work 4x as hard to get the items I want but don't happen to find. This is not good for me, so I refuse to do it.
I think what a lot of people don't understand is that in this ladder season, the runes drop more frequently. Ist is not as rare as it was last season. So everything gets scaled up. What can a Pul seriously get you these days? I can't think of a single thing I would want to equip that I could buy for a pul. A pul is basically useless. An um is basically the first "not useless" rune, but it's still pretty common. I often just cube my Um runes to mals anyway.
Mal is worth what pul used to be worth last season. It is basically the new pul rune this season - your general purpose rune to buy most good unique items in the game besides the big ones like coa, griffons, etc. While that's not 100% accurate, it is a pretty good observation as to what has happened with the rune structure from someone who has played the current and the previous ladder seasons.
