Looking for really fun character build.

Alas, D2 is getting kind of boring, I have run out of fun character builds. I have built most types of characters, but I havent found one that has gotten me really hooked. Can someone give me some suggestions on what type of character to make?

What do you mean "really hooked"? It seems to me that you are really hooked. Or maybe you were. :thumbsup: To be able to make many character builds and have time to play them is an accomplishment.

Try a jumping barb. Death from the skies sounds fun and challenging.

This is quite possably the most fun I've ever had playing D2. The damage output is insane also.

Sticking a bow on anyone but a Zon can be challanging and fun also.
And throwing characters are a laugh.

conversion and thorns, then take a spliff while the monsters fight and kill each other. I think I will do that next.

Berzerker Barb with max Warcry is pretty fun, they can get VERY strong.

A fun but complex build is the "shockbear geddon" He transfroms into a Werebear then casts shockwave and armageddon, along with many other skills like volcano or moulten boulder for the fire immune monsters.

Another one is a poisonmancer, except i think they need pretty good items to be able to kill efficiently, like Bramble, trangs shield, and that unique elite wand that does -50% to enemy poison resist.

I dont know how well it works but sounds so cool.
Assn with blade throwing techniques.
You could also use venom with throwing knives.

Rather than something completely new, try a character you know how to control, and see how far you can get by using only minimal stat & skill points; for openers see how far you can get without using any points at all.

Alternately, build a non engaging 'party' character to support a killer melee merc.

Or, plan a character around all the stat & skill points you get but the worst equipment you can tolerate.

There's always the naked <fill in your favorite character> ... try running the game without boots, gloves, shield, etc.

But alas, if ya want something with all the bells & whistles - how about a melee Necro, or a singing dagger Barb?

Well guys, thanks for the suggestions. I found out that a throwing barb is by far one of the funnest (if not the funnest ) Character i have ever played. Ty for all the suggestions again.

As a trower you might want to put one pt into frenzy for some fun

Early game will be fine(act 1-3) , mid-early will be hard without a good weapon(4-5)
Midgame(nightmare) will be fun when you have a good weapon, the uniques are fun.
Endgame Will be hard Hard HARD.

PVP will be fun, trowers can do some serious damage.
