Hola there!
I haven't logged on Bnet in a long while - my cd-rom is broken, it can't play any disc. It probably won't be fixed that soon, so i don't know if i will be able to make it for the start of the new ladder...though everything is looking like we won't have a new ladder.
One a side note, our baby's delivery happened 2 days ago - a very cute girl, quite tall and weighing a bit more than 8 pounds...she will be called Clara

I'm also starting to wonder if the ladder will ever reset. Was hoping for one last hurrah before Diablo 3 comes out in a couple years and wanted to rebuild some things. But, not gonna do it in this stale ladder I don't think.
I too will probably not be back anytime soon unless ladder resets.

I will try to have my cd-rom repaired by soon, just in case 
The computer is on warrantee so i just have to bring the thing back to the store, they will ship it free to the repair services. What bugs me is that i have a ton of photos on my comp...i have no idea if i will have the same computer back and no way to burn these pics on a DVD since the cd-rom is broken..
Anyways, here's a pic of my small treasure.

Take your hard drive out before you take it? Just have them send you the cdrom.. it'll take 5 mins to swap it... or just go buy one for 20 bucks and save the hassle.
Either way, congrats man, I'm proud for you and I hope to see ya around online eventually. I'm beginning to wonder if we will ever see a new ladder.. if they dont reset it, they should at least dump us all into non-ladder.

Yea i considered changing the cd-rom myself, though i hate the idea of paying 100 bucks for a warrantee that i don't use when i need.
I didn't thought about removing the hard drive; that's sounds great but i wonder if it will annulate my warrantee?
Oh man and i feel like playing some D2 these days, been a long time... :sad2:

Congrats on the little one. You're probably not going to have a whole lot of D2 time for a while. On the bright side, you'll get a chance to test your sleep depravation threshold and discover the wonders of caffine. Luckily, Clara will be in pre-school by the time we get a ladder reset.
I wish they would get it over with already. I have all this piled up gear to boost some of my off ladder characters, but it's just collecting dust. I'm looking forward to playing them again. In fact, since I was successful in building my Uber Druid, I am now remaking my Necro as a Fishymancer that should be Uber capable. My old necro was a PvM Summon/Bone hybrid that was exploiting the Marrowwalk bug. He, needless to say, was crippled by the fix. He's still viable, but he's too slow and thus not much fun.

Yup, the marrow bug was overpowered but we lost alot of cool builds once it was fixed.
I was leveling my new bone necro too when the cd-rom things happened - i think he is level 45 or the like.
It's been so long since the last time i played that i don't even remember if he has all his end-game gear nor what he's wearing at the moment.
Next monday i will get the computer to the shop to get it fixed, i will save what i can on a USB portable thing. I hope it won't take too long.

well I finally came to the point where I'm ready to untwink my sorc. I "finished" my hammerdin/1pt smiter and my latest meteorb. I finally got them to level 90 and 89 respectivly - and that's good enough to wear all my crafted ammy's and so forth. My next char is going to be a 200% FCR charged boltress. I finally bought all my gear, so now it's just a matter of leveling her up and equiping it. I'll be on my old untwinked acct if anyone cares to join me

I am thinking about re-plugging my old computer on friday night; i will update my characters and maybe play a bit.
If i can't do it friday that will be saturday.

Well, it's been so long that all my toons are gone, which is fine since they were stripped.
But, even with no plans to come back this ladder, I find myself back on a necromancer once more. He's level 4 and extremely uber.
I don't think I'm going to get back into MF etc. I am leaning more towards just playing untwinked with what I find.
But who knows. Maybe the bug will bite and I'll try to get a bunch of stuff together for NL trading someday.
