LOL, Cheating in Games and no comment

And Blizzard has no comment. (see Dii.net's headlines)

Bahahahahaha! Obviously they wouldn't have a comment, because:
1) They are the fastest company to crack down on hacks
2) They respond immediately to customer reports of cheating
3) They have had a long history of banning CD keys for use of hacks, extending back to the days of Diablo 1
4) Sales of hacked items on Ebay were discouraged through threats of litigation against Ebay, and sellers of these items lost many thousands of keys.
5) Hack sites are routinely closed down immediately by Blizzard's legal department
6) Through arduous quality control, all known game bugs and backdoors are immediately patched by Blizzard server side.
7) Blizzard's no-frills-no-leeway anti-hacking policies scare all people into never attempting to use hacks online

With all of this, why would they need to comment? They are by far the finest organization in the gaming community dedicated to the enjoyment of their products by all consumers.

We in the Hardcore community especially know their longstanding commitment to providing a cheat free environment. Without mentioning the plethora of measures that the company has taken to insure our community remains cheat free and enjoyable, I would like to congratulate them on their fine work to date. Their track record is proven, and cannot be challenged.

Bring on Diablo 3 now guys, and make certain there is a promise of a hack-free cheat-free dupe-free gaming environment! Without that, I would never play any of their games.

LOL, hostiles and townkills. teh sechz.

I'm saying they did all of that mentioned. Don't you agree? Why you so against Blizzard? So hostile towards them, all of you. With all they have done the past 3 years to insure a hack-free environment, I agree with their desire to not comment. Why comment when you are the best?

Good god i hope all those things listed by conner were sarcasm. Blizzard does "harsh" actions towards cheaters such as close their accounts OH MY GOD WOW, NOT! When blizzard does decide to do a mass banning a large amount of the legit population is wiped out as well. Blizzard responds immediately to reports of hacking right? So all those billions of pindlebots and maphack users in 1.09 were just oversight right?

It's not like ANYTHING is going to get done.
Blizz has their head so far up world of warcrap's *** they're wearing it as a hat.

I like the part;
`Diablo 1' was so notorious for cheating in the online component that majority of people who bought `Diablo 2' bought it with intention of playing single player,'' he said.
Could someone please point me in the direction of this majority?

OT, but I was wondering if any of you young guns remember who "the secks" came from, originally. Sorta makes me realize, I've been here a few years. I really should donate one of these days...

Str8 up failed to stop cheats

Kinda funny, I remember making a post a long time ago where I said " blizzard made a noble effort to stop cheats, but they failed"

Got flamed at by balos and then told by zappa that I was terribly wrong....A Noble effort followed with failure is a " contradiction". So to this fine post I reply...Blizzard made no noble effort.......they just plain failed.....ty

Aww Birdy, you usually get flamed by me when you adopt a superiority mentality over the rest of the bnet community. Don't remember the the particulars of your post and it really doesn't matter.

This game is old news for Blizzard. Still, 1.10 did do a lot to clean up the realms. Didnt last too long but thats to be expected. Any game with the popularity of D2 is going to draw cheaters and haxxors to try and get the upper hand. The resources to keep them out would be staggering.
