Locations in Sanctuary

I was wondering what other locations future expansions could lead us to.

So far we have:
Temperate zone (Tristram & surroundings)
Desert (Caldeum)
Snowy mountain (Arreat)
Heaven
Gothic city & Pandemonium

What else is there in sanctuary, that would not be to similar to previous locations?
There is jungle, hell (the few areas in act 4 do not count) & beach (skovos iselands) that are coming into my mind.

A beach location would be great, Skovos seems the most likely candidate for that and also contains thick jungle environments, although there is also Xiansai as an island setting. Would also be great to go to Ureh and the surrounding area as was originally featured in the preview trailer cinematic. More necros! Basically somewhere on the eastern continent to balance out all the acts on the west!

Ureh, which seems close to a mountain chain could be nice. Compare to Moria in Lord of the Rings.

Another theme that is missing is real deep jungle.

But it wouldn't surprise me if they didn't do more expansions.

The three places I really want to see:

1) Ureh. It was supposed to be in the original game, but was cut very early in production. Nonetheless, Ureh would be really cool, since it is a 'cursed city of the damned.'

2) Xiansai. Personally, I just like Asian-influenced cultures and areas. Also, I believe that Xiansai produces a lot of mages, and I'm a real sucker for magic wielders. If it was possible to learn real magic in real life, I'm quit school in a heart-beat to do it, and damn all the consequences.

3) Scosglen, home of the druids. We haven't had a real forest-y area in any Diablo game: the swamp in Act III D2 was the closest we've ever gotten. Scosglen is also interesting to me simply because we don't have a lot of story elements from it in the main series: other than the Druid in D2, we've never been to Scosglen, nothing interesting has ever come out of Scosglen (except the Druid), and we don't really know all that much about it. Seems to me that out of all of them, that would be the best future area to visit.

Whether or not they do more expansions probably depends on three things: how many people buy RoS, how many people continue playing RoS, and how many people don't buy RoS but continue playing D3V. If enough people do, I expect they'll do another expansion. The tentative design schedule back from Jay Wilson's team indicated that D3 was slated to have two expansions, so I expect that at least some preliminary work has been done plotting out possible places expansion #2 could take us.

Personally, I like D3 RoS enough that I hope they do another expansion. I understand that you don't, which is fine, but I hope they do another expansion.

I wish we could have explored more of Caldeum, visting the Great Library and the Yshari Sanctum would be nice.

There's always Hell, ofc.

Some dark dimension type of world.

A magical dark forest or jungle.
