lld question

ok im makin a 29 charger for pvp, im wondering if defenc is important at all

was plannig on throwing silks of victor with hel, for high defence, the skills is nice too - have str charms to take care of str req so i can concentrate on vit

or should i just go with a cheap 4 sock gothic/plate for life and max dmg?

also how important is dex, and whats about the right ammount?

i'd say a 3os/life armor with maxers is the way to go, but a 4os gothic is a cheaper alternative.

5str large charms will save you 5 stats for two spaces. 5 vit = 15 life. for the same two spots in your inventory you could have 2x 15 life smalls so put the hard points in and get life scs.

i'd say that if you ever wanted to have block (vs another charger or a bowa) that having max block with a 4os/maxed pally shield + honor (i think that's the one hander of choice for a charger of this level though i dont know what it's in) is the way to go. dex would depend on the base shield block %.

Take the time to shop Hell Anya/Gheed for a 3os "Artisan's *** of the Squid." The highest life you can get on one is 80, but you can afford to settle for 45+, as the 80's don't spawn with 3 sockets very often. As was stated above, dig up a 4os paly shield with ar/ed and socket max damage jewels. Max damage jewels go in your armor too BTW. Eth honor would be a nice wep, but if you're wanting to "ease" into LLD charging, run the pits/Chaos a few(lol) times until a nice war scepter drops with good mods. Charge would be nice, as would zeal(if you wanted versatility), or the holiest of mods that almost never comes along...holy shield[gasp]. Make honor in this bad boy. Your helm could be peasant crown on the cheap, or a 3os helm with max damage jewels, or a nice magical helm with good mods(psn length reduction and life come to mind) with max damage jewels. For a 2-handed switch, you could try Hwanin's bill or my personal favorite, Insight in a partizan(+style points for eth, plus it shows you have balls). Whether you invest a point in holy shield or not, make sure you have max block with your shield. My "welfare" 30 charger does ~3.6k damage with 8.5k ar(Insight) or ~2k damage with ~6k ar(crap sword + 4os paly shield with maxers). Hope this helps.

correction to above: of the Squid is lvl req 30, if you plan to be lvl 29 of the Colossus (60 life max) is the best you can get, Artisan's puts lvl req at 25.

Might add Bonesnapp as one of the top choises for 2hadn chargers aswell.

Ahh, true. Sorry for the mix-up. I found an eth bonesnap the other night and can't wait to try it on the 30.
