I have an Aerin Shield with 64% ED and +111 AR, 4os, with jewels in it that give +54 to max damage and some other mods. The base shield has a lvl req of 15, but the jewels that are currently in it bring it to 15. I am currently using it as a leveling shield for paladins - it really, really, really helps zeal.

plus, since the ED is still bugged IIRC... I usually went for 40+ res all shields, made my pk-ers /duellers that much more durable against higher levels.

thas pretty sick Apex, never seen a high one in hc, i ono about lvl req the one we got in SC hits lvl 18 req for 20 max jewels

no. it just refers to the one not in sc, 65ed 121ar one my brother found then traded heavily for 20 max jewels on lld forums

If you simply look at all of the shields that drop you will get a good one, they drop soo freaking much. Even the Rarer (2) Sock + Big Resists are not hard to find but they dont drop in the normal places one wants to spend time farming a whole lot except for drooler items..

Hit the armour rack beside meph every run. TONS of shields of all shapes and sizes. And other stuff too of course, but I primarily do it for the shields.

I hit the weapon rack too for a chance at nifty eth weapons, but those are less common than the plethora of shields that come from the armour rack... I think so far this season an eth cryptic axe is the only one I've bothered keeping.
