Lineage II "Beta"
Hey everyone, im pretty new to this forum and i am a constant diablo 2 player for over hmmm id say 3-4 years now. every day the same old constant thing, killing monsters, trying to beat the pick-it prog, and ignore the annoying spam bots. well last week i tried the Lineage II "Beta" and im happy to say you couldn't even wrap D2 in gold and expect me to pick it over this game. besides it being new and modern the players are amazing. you know on d2 how there are the annoying lil "newbs" who spam give me items or i wont shut up until you lose your sanity or mastering the squelch button, well on L2 "beta" i see players everywhere helping out one another donating their time to share knowledge and even give them back their items when they die. well ive played the game for about 4 days now and im currently a level 13 at 12.41% until level 14 and im addicted.... its like diablo 2 but rejuvinated to an extremety. well anyways here is an example... im sitting there with my Human mage trying to solo a few Stone Golems, when suddenly im mauled by a few orcs including a higher ranking orcish being. i yell out help and within seconds of my sighting about 10 players stop what they are doing and focus on my endevor, afterwards they even heal me and ask if im ok
. well if this isnt kindness i dont know what is.... another example is when i first started, i had just logged on for the first time and a player comes up to me and starts chatting. well i respond and talk to him and he shows me the ropes about basic functions and even sends me on my way with 1,000 gold (gold is the main currency its like runes for L2). for cooperation there is always the good old anti pk measures... if you pk someone who wasnt hostile to you, you have a red name until you slay x monsters to remove that redness. well lets just say there rnt many pkers for this exact reason. i was being a low level 5 and for the first time i saw a red name, well everyone else spotted this person as well, and you can just say it was a slaughter. this pker was massed by around 15-25 players and killed in seconds. afterwards it was massive rejoycing and congrats to everyone who helped defeat this player who thought it'd be funny to cause some havoc in the server. anyways my sentence and paragraphical structure are shitty, so i hope you take my blabbing into consideration and try the lineage 2 "beta" soon before the beta closes in a few weeks >.<.
