Line 94 help. [MAC]

Ok, this might be a little long.

My friend and I have school issued Macs running on OS X 10.6.6. The other day, I installed Diablo 2, all that good crap, etc. etc. Anyways, He deleted a folder or something in his Diablo 2 folder. Well, it wouldn't work, so he deleted the whole thing and was going to do a fresh install. He installed it correctly, everything works. When he goes to play the game, it loads the Blizzard screen, the Blizzard North screen, but AS SOON as he sees the Lords of Destruction Expansion image, where the Druid and Assassin are walking through the archway, his game stops responding, and makes a "dun" Sound, as if he couldn't do that.
Things we've tried;
Reinstalling the full version.
Reinstalling full version without media.
Tried a torrent.

What we think the problem is, is that the patch is screwed up, because whenever he doesn't patch it and just starts it on 1.10, it works fine. But whenever he patches the game with anything else, it does the same thing.

We called Blizzard, and the dumb PC guy said he had never seen anything like it (Because you have a PC, right?)

Anyways, I really would appreciate someone if they would help me do this. We just wanna play a good RPG together.

This line 94 thing, I assume is related to an error message you are receiving? If so, what is that error message? I'm more interested in any dll files that it references

Line 94 Error 7f08d568. Something important I forgot. He doesn't get the error message whenever the game is in full screen mode, it just freezes. Whenever he gets into windowed mode, it gives him the error. Please help :(

Perhaps rather than just deleting the folder, you could run Blizzard's uninstall to take out whatever registries are set up whenever the game was installed.

There isn't an uninstall for the mac, just delete the folder, unless you know something else. I will be back around 8 p.m. central time, if anyone wants to message me on AIM, ill pm when I get back. Thanks so much for the help so far, but please, keep it coming.

Do Macs have something similar to regedit? If it does, search for any Diablo reg keys and delete them, followed by a reboot and a fresh install.

PS: It might be a good idea to run the vidtest provided by Blizzard in the installation folder of the game.
