lightning sorc pkks

i've seen three pks killed since the season started and they were all by lightning sorcs.
one was an assassin in normal wsk that never even got close.
two was a charger that chased us down in an nm izzy game. he killed an oak sage and hit a bear druid, who got lucky. before he could charge again, zappppp.
three was a leap barb in nm throne room. took out a necro and was zapped before he could jump again.

i know lighning has some high damage potential but these guys must have had sorry resists, right? or is there some badass pkk light sorc clan on west?

in season 2 i've been in a quite a few parties in which most have stayed after being hostiled. everyone figures the pks are poorly equiped, i suppose. the majority of the time the pks just stay in town, talking big. i'm pure pvm but all for pking and pkk attempting - makes the game more exciting. it is just a game, after all.

Average pk lvl for norm baals : 25-30.

Average level of baal runner? 35-45

45 sorc vs 30.


Sorc set up :

Magefists
Viper
+3 ammy
+3 helm
Visceraunt
+3 orb (lets assume they arent using anything special)
NightSmoke
Dual fcr rings
Some boots.

that's + 11 to light skills lets say

Lvl 20 Lightning
Lvl 20 Charged bolt
lvl 15 lightning mastery.

Without any charms, that puts their damage to 11-6879.

Assuming with charms : 14-14049


I would love to see some lvl 30 survive that fight.

Where do you play? While I have seen the odd level 29 charger in Baal runs trying to get ears (bless their heart) the average PK in the average Baal run game is probably over level 50. That changes the footing a little.

I'd say the most common PK's I have seen on east are the lvl 45 to 50 Charger Paladins with DR ect, PK'ing in norm baal runs. And the TPPK Necro/Sorc that are lvl 80 or so in nm baal runs and the occasional 80'ish PK in hell baal runs.

Pathetic. I never take anything over 30 into a norm baal run, with the exception of Crushwulf version 1.0 (no sheild, 900 ish life...low dmg)

You mean 95% of battle.net PK's, the ones who use high lvl chars and more often than not 3rd party programs to jump tp's.. Yep.

God, did I feel cheap PKing with my lvl 24 charger...

The one time when I had to bail, was when I was hit by 3x lvl 40 sorcs, spamming orb, lightning (Or was it death sentry?), and something else.
