Lightning sorc optimal gear?

Well i finally went to build a light sorc again, and i'm pure light dmg with blocking, no ES/tk. I've been wondering whats the perfect setup/optimal setup for fcr/dmg/resists etc? Here's how my setup looks so far

Shako(UM/Light Facet)
Maras
Hoto/Eschutas
Lidless/Whistans (what to socket in these 2 shields?)
2x sojs
arachnids
magefists
waterwalks
Dusk CoH

I was wondering also, what the optimal FCR rate is for lightning and what to do with spare points, warmth? thunder storm? chilling armor/shiver armor? Should I alter my gear any?

Ok.. first of all, you have 80FCR which is ok, its alot to go for the next BP with a big sacrifice in Res, so that should do. One thing I can suggest though is, use Whistans with 2Pdiamonds if you need res, Facets for dmg, or Shaels for security. TO replace your lost FCR, go for Griffons. If this is NL then just go lidless I suppose and take the Dex sacrifice. For gloves... I always prefer trangs to magefists, though nobody considers it. You have just as much FCR, but! You get more res overall, which is very important, I think they always are better unless using a fire related build. Other than that, I think you look good, I will edit with the Lightning Cast Rates. yes you should, cuz you would also be teleing at 8 frame if u get 117 fcr

I use sanctuary and cresent moon phaseblade, this works very well for me, meph dies a lot faster than with eshutas even thou u loose some fcr and +skills

here is a way that i have done to keep max res, 117 fcr and still get full res with good dmg.

Socketing a 5/5 Lightning Facet goes a long way 2.

I put one into my Lightning Fury Zon ( I know its off topic) but effectively in Hell it means about 10% more damage, cant go wrong with that! ( works for lightning Sorcs as well )

Use a death one 2, so when you die, at least it will kill everything around your body, this is very useful , espcially when you are level 90 and cant afford the exp loss.

it works differently with sorcs, the 5% extra damage is just added onto lightning mastery, i also find that -resist doesnt really help much, either they have so low that they already or they stack enough to negate it
