Lightning/Poison Javazon

I am thinking about starting over with diablo again, from scratch. What i had in mind is a amazon as first character and therefore it has to be something that can mf enough to keep itself viable in hell. What i was thinking would be to play a javazon with maxed LF, CS, and the two poison skills. I have played with those two lightning skills before. That time i got to act 3 hell without problem, where i got stuck thanks to loads of lightimmunes, and my backup, Freezing arrow, drained my manabulb in less than three seconds. So, my plan is to start by by filling all prereqs, and 1 point in everything in the passive and magic tree(from my experience, with the amount of +skills i will have, this will be plenty) and putting all the remaining points in charged strike. After i hit 30, all points go into lightning fury and after that i finish of charged strike. When that is done, i will go ahead and max the poisonskills(starting with plague).

why am i posting this then? well i need a little bit of help, for gearing up with cheap stuff and how viable this will be.
From my knowledge the lightningskills will be great, but how do you experience the poisonskills against lightimmunes? will it kill with decent speed?

also, where should i put the remainding skillpoints?
i want to be able to do as much as possible with this character, so i was thinking about throwing the rest into penetrate.

For gear, what should i aim for?
Titans for weapons, of course.
shields, should i use spirit for the +2 skills and res, or lidless for +1 skills and +mana after each kill?
for armor i was thinking either peace or treachery.
Peace for the ctc valk, as the lvl15 valk will stay alive forever with just 1 point investments, and 2 skills.
Treachery would be for 45% IAS, with this and 10% more from somewhere, i have read that i hit a nice breakpoint with throwing, normal attacks and jab with -10 weapon that titans are. I assume charged strike is counted as the same attack as normal. This will also give me Fade as well as venom. Venom would really kick *** with my poison javelin if the physical part of it hits. Thats why i thought about putting the remaining points in penetrate.
Unfortunately it lacks +skills.

Belt will probably be razortail, unless you can convince me that something can be better for your damage than 100%+ pierce with LF
My helm will be valkyries wing, for faster R/W, skills, mana after each kill.
my amulet will be a magic with +amazon skills.
Boots will be whatever i can get my hands on with faster R/W and resistances, for example some set boots like IK or nats.
The gloves are something i wonder about though. Im thinking that i either get trangs for +25% poisondamage, or magic +3javskills with ias or whatever i can use.
My rings will be whatever i can find that will help me, like ML, LL, stats, res.

I would like her to be able to run bosses, which she surely will with charged strike, countess for runes, summoner/nihlathak for keys, travi etc, and maybe also ubers, with help and much better gear than what i listed here, obviously, but maybe as some distant goal for my MFing, without having to rebuild(if possible)

So, any tips i can get for this character on gear, skills, playstyle or something would be appreciated.

Poison will be slower then fa. Though if you don't like fa, poison is the best other option. Strafe without a good bow is a no go. Poison will work in smaller games, though with more players in the game, you will lack killings speed.

I'm planning to someday make on myself. For mf chaos, I just hope that he'll be strong enough.

My plan is to go with rhyme - I'm on non ladder so no spirit; and don't forget, spirit = no block. Though actually, this is groovy shield. Some res, mf, cannot be frozen and extra block. The cannot be frozen makes raven frost useless so you can go with 2 mf rings. Put in some topaz in armour and helm and you already have a decent amount of mf, and your killing speed shouldn't be that bad.

The gear you propose seems good, though the armours need some comment. Yes, valk from peace will stay around with just one point in valk, though you will lose control over her and lvl 15 isn't that super. Consider putting points in decoy if you feel that you need extra tanking ability. If not, the extra points should go in lightning synergies - or pierce to hit lvl 9, and not penetrate, it's useless. Treachery is something you don't want. The venom will idd skyroket when it physical javelin hit, though if you hit a monster that has been poisoned with lightning fury, you will override the poison from your poison javelins, and that ain't good.

If you want +skill in your armour, peace or skin of the viper magi are your best options I'd say.

P.S. trang gloves are only better then magic 3 skill gloves when you have more then 33 skill IIRC. And they don't offer any help to your lightning side nor do they give ias. Unless your really have fallen in love with poison, 3/20 mostly better.

I agree that Treachery for this build is something that he probably doesn't want, but not for the reason you gave. Here's why:

A fully synergized Poizon (with moderate +skills) Plague Jav can drop a poison rate of 1497/sec. damage. Over .4 sec. that would be approx. 598. This rate is indeed higher than the 310 over .4 sec. rate of the Level 15 Venom from Treachery. So his LF hits wouldn't overwrite the Plague Jav's and thus the Treachery's Venom would be of no real use other than the increased IAS. And that alone is not worth foregoing some of the other great armors out there. Now, I know you mentioned Poison Jav's, but most people don't really use the Poison Jav skill much once they get the Plague Jav's so that's what I used for the Calculation.

Also- I agree with you that Trangs aren't better than +3 skiller gloves. I mean, ideally you want as many + skill points as possible AND Trangs, but if I had to choose. . .I'd take the +3 Skillers over the Trangs everytime. I have done experiments with this extensively in the past and found that Trangs and +2 skillers are about the same- but only with regards to Damage numbers. If you can find +3 skillers with IAS or some other useful mods. . .they beat Trangs everytime.
