Lightning and Fire Sorc, ideas?

Lightning and Fire Sorc, ideas?

This would be for PvM.
I would like to build a Lightning and Fire Sorc of some kind.
I was looking at the ChargedBoltress Guide and I am thinking about that. But, I was wondering if you guys had any other ideas?

I thought maybe Chain Lightning with Hydra would be fun, but it seems like there would be too many synergies and not enough points to go around?

Any ideas?

meteor/cl might be good.

I'd say take a blizzball or meteorb and replace the cold tree with the lit tree and see what happens.

Pretty much the fundamental issue with a no cold sorc build is how to you keep the mobs away from you. thats the main function of blizz/orb, slow and mass damage, then high damager spam finisher. hard to replace that strat in the lit/fire tree, but not impossible.

I'd say a meteolightning/cl would be my pick.

If you must have a Fire/Lightening sorc your best bet will be all the prereqs and 1 point wonders and this....

20 Firewall
20 Fire Mastery

20 Lightening
20 Chain Lightening
20 Lightening Mastery

You will need a holy freeze merc to slow the monsters.

I'm trying one now, I was thinking of doing this:

20 Fireball
20 Fire Mastery
1 Warmth
1 Firebolt

20 Lightning
20 Chain Lightning
20 Lightning Mastery
1 Telekenisis
1 Teleport
1 Static Field
1 Charged Bold

I'm going to see how that goes and then maybe go with meteor or firebolt as a synergy.

Any thoughts???

I prefer a delay spell and a fast cast instead of all fast casts. So that I can use both at the same time and increase my damage output.
