The only real problem with Poison/Light and wanting to do Baal is that Burning Souls are LI/PoI, so you can't always use Poison as LI solution there.
Other options than poison could be:
- 20 FA/20 CA (synergy for FA), also know as Fishyzon
- Lower resist wand/Infinity with -Lres on gear (e.g. Thunderstrokes, facets)
- Jab, possibly with some extra elemental damage from Tiamats/Demon Arch
- Strafe (slvl 8-20)
