Light Plate vs Breast Plate? Look wise

need your opinion!

I am trying to make a fortitude armor. However, i don't know if i should make it out of breast plate or light plate (elite version of course)

they are both light armor (no speed penalty) but breast plate requires more strength (15)

however, light armor is like a plotch of shade in front, which totally sucks in looks. breast plate just made metalic gold all around.

personally, so far without going into heavier armors, the best looking one that i found was the splint mail type. it's metalic gold with dark band over the shoulders (which is essentially a reverse of light plate). however, splint mail is a medium armor instead of light.

so what do you guys think?

sorry if i am asking a lot of questions. but this is like my dream zon (7fps glass canon) that i never got done completing back when i played in .09/10 version. (made a windforcer instead. yea yea yea... i know.... hit 8fps though)

also for the stat thread, I traded for a zon torch and in the process of getting an anni charm. i have have 1 um and 2 pul as assets, and if i trade carefully... could = 5 sets of keys or potentially Lo?

if that happens, all i am missing is the bow. getting this close is making me quite jittery.

Fortitude needs a 4sox armor. Breast Plate and Light Plate has 3 sox max.


Use either a 15ed Dusk or 15ed Archon for more resale value.

nono, i know light plate and whatever has only 3os max. I mean their equivalent elite counterpart. (since just because an item is an exceptional or elite, they looks don't get upgraded as well)

as for wire fleece. I tried it already and it's like reverse breast plate. all gray shade all around. don't think i can stand that look

edit: good link! i think the best coloring is eliminate the gray shade for legs. however, that means going into heavier armor. think about ancient armor, though the speed penalty is kind of annoying

splint mail ftw. also ancient armor is medium I think, speed penalty is not that high.
