Light facets and infinity

I know +% dmg on facets does not help facets (known bug) as with griffons but does the - to lightning resist still work?

also with the facets and infinity's - lightning resis... does it just take resis of nearby enemies? or does the merc carrying infinity have to hit the minion/player? or is there a certain range or how close do u have to be for the - lightning resistance to come into effect?

I am unsure if - light on facets work with assasins but for the - light resist on infinity this only applies to the merc iirc

The -lit resist on infinity will never work with your traps (with the exception of ShockWeb; and only then if you are holding the weapon yourself).

The kicker with inifnity is the Conviction aura. That holds a certain radius, and will lower resists in that radius.
