Lifetap wand?

Seen this mentioned soooooooooooo many times, and still all i got to was wands bought from drognan with 7-9% life leach? That cant be right, they do no damage at all so i must be totally lost, somebody bless my ignorance please :whistling:

Lifetap wand = a (usually) magic (blue) wand that has lifetap skill charges. So you just switch to the wand, perform the lifetap and then switch back to you normal weapon. You dont really use the wand to melee with.

Is the charges always the same level? I got a game now with "97/97 charges of level 5 Life Tap", is that just what it always is?

No it can be different levels of Life Tap, and different amount of charges. The higher the level the longer it will stay casted, and the larger area it effects, the more charges the less it costs to recharge them.

Ok thanks, but do you have any idear of how high you can get? Can always farm ingame gold so is np with recharges ect.
