Look for norm games w/ 4+ peps and run the various tunnels in A5. Unless u can find "safe" Baal runs..

    good luck 2 your leveling

Psychic Hammer ftw (or Mind Blast when you hit 30). Just keep casting and stunning Lister while Merc/Shadow chip away at him.

Or to level, Shenk, Eld and Pindle work well. Or just clear out the Keep for exp. It really shouldn't take to long to level up in act 5 even at P1 at that level.

    Re: Leveling Help

Percentage wise you might level just a little bit faster running River of Flame until you at least hit level 30. You're taking a 28% experience penalty by running Act V at level 27.

    lvl - Act IV - Act V

    27 - 97% - 72%
    28 - 98% - 75%
    29 - 99% - 78%
    30 - 95% - 80%
    31 - 90% - 83%
    32 - 83% - 86%

Hm. Act IV is not a good place for lvling IMO.

I'd go clear frigid and other areas.

(Or go do NM cows with ench and ravenclaw )

    Re: Leveling Help

River of flame is great for leveling. It's pretty linear, so monsters are always right in front of you, and it's pretty crowded with monsters so you don't have to do any sort of hunting down or chasing around. Fridgid is just the opposite. It's totally wide open and you can end up chasing stuff around. I've always found River to be a fast leveling area. In fact the only leveling I'll do at all in Act V is Eldridge, Shenk, Pindle & Worldstone. When I'm leveling in anticipation of doing Ancients, I do River, Eldridge, Shenk, Pindle rinse and repeat. Get high enough to do Ancients then its Eldridge and Worldstone (used to do Shenk & Pindle also decided those two involve too much time spent running when I wasn't killing).

    Re: Leveling Help

This man speaks the truth. Another common thing to do is level in cows from 20-30, then baal. All assuming you can find a safe game to do the runs in. Both types are tppk magnets, unfortunately.

    Re: Leveling Help

The two safest way to lvl IMO is:

    1. Of course to play the game slow and nice .. I find this boring through normal.

    2. Get ench, leave party, lvl where NO ONE ELSE ARE. The PK's won't go for you anyways then. Too much effort for them.

When you get ~30 its starting to got smooth. Shenk is fast & easy to lvl at.

    Re: Leveling Help

i've been skipping lister and his homies, if I'm solo, I kill them a couple of times for proof but after that it takes as long to do them as the whole rest of the minions so i just move on.

    Re: Leveling Help

just make sure u are paying attention in public baal runs and u are safe 90% of the time. There is a bit of time between the hostile and actual killing and you will hear an audio prompt, so just save and exit immediately

    Re: Leveling Help

in my experience from lvl 25 up to 32 Bloody runs are very good exp. I tried RoF + Cs yesterday with enchant and it didnt seem like it was as good exp as bloody foothills. The thing with bloody is that you dont run after single mobs, but just run from big group to big group. They are not really far away from eachother. It is comparable to RoF
