Level 9 PK barb

Hullo I was going to make a lvl 9 pk baba with the following skills

Skills:
17 skill pts w/ all skill quests done

1 mastery (don't know what weap)
1 howl (prereq)
1 shout
1 double swing
13 bash

Equip:
Helm: Berserkers helm
Armor: Berserkers armor
Gloves: bloodfists
Belt: Signon's belt
Boots: Signon's boots
Rings/Ammy: +dmg/+life
Weapon1/2: 3 soc War axe or hammer with flawed gems.

Stats:
70 str
base dex
base energy
rest into vit

The basic idea is to use double swing with the bash synergy. The only thing I'm not sure about is if I should use a war axe or a war hammer. The war hammer does 50% more damage than the axe but is quite a bit slower. Will the faster attack speed of the war axe make up for its lack of damage?

Also, I thought about putting Sigs shield (for 100 def, 69% block, and +1 skills) on and going 1hand bash. Is this a better idea than dual wielding? If it is, should I go with the axe or hammer since I lose the double swing speed?

Final bonuses (the important ones imo) look something like this:
Life: +110
IAS: +10%
+dmg: +5 min
FHR: 30%
+skills: +1

This is for classic, but at such a low level, I don't see how there would be much difference in gear.

Is Nagelring in Classic? If it is, I suggest using 2 of those. The AR would be very useful.

you can have more ar in magic/rare rings.
and you can't put more than 9 points into bash (at lvl 9) so dump the rest in mastery/DS.
I think you shoud use death's set gloves/belt.
Aim for a good ED (70% max) war axe x2

Actually, IIRC the max AR for a rare ring with lvl req less then 9 is if it had steel and light mods. Even then with a perfect roll it would give as much as a perfect roll on a nagel.

@ badly I have a silver ring with 78 ar and +2 strength second mode at lvl 9, I think thats probably better then nagel.

Age there jewels in classic? I don't think so but if so they are your best bet. For equip I'd go sigs shield boots and gloves, death sash, berserkers helm and armor. Good llders are melee so you want maxed block and def should be pretty high, maybe even max shout at that level so it last for more then 30 seconds. Good Luck.

Actually you should try dual civerbs and civerbs ammy. Also wear sigons armor , helm, gloves, boots, belt. you should have plenty of attack rating speeed defense and damage.
