Leaper anything like a charger?

Just trying to be original.. making a lld leaper. Probably going 2h.

Is leap attack anything as good as charge or am i wasting my time, really. I just lost my mf sorc so i dont wanna throw away my last angelic stuff on a crappy lld.

If I recall, leap attack really requires a stationary target to effectively connect the blow. If they're running, you will basically never make contact.

I'll leave it for someone with more experience on that to give a final answer though.

thanks for the tip.. hes on hold for now tho, I got sick of the act1 leveling grind and decided he can wait till later..

What ya do is wait for them to run at you then leap into them. This strategy worked REALLY well for my ISFC dueler! :clap:

with a leaper you are meant to leap around so you can get close to them then when they are only a few yards away then u use leap attack because there is like hardly any jumping distance so very easy to hit

Leapers are a difficult build to use if you dont know what you are doing. Its all about the timed leap. with practice you will learn just when to leap as that charger is barreling down on you or that other barb or druid makes a b-line twards you. Ranged attackers are you bane. they are near impossible to get close enough to hit. the leap animation over a distance is too slow to catch em. you will get your kills with very very close shift+leap attack, really, as close to the same spot your standing.

If you are gonna try one, I would suggest using an eth honor lance for your two hander. hits hella hard and has a good reach. Or go with a big ugly maul if you cant get your hands on a 5 socket eth lance.
