Last name change and I really mean it this time

For everybody that hasn't already noticed, I asked Elly to change my name. This in honor of my having been made a Knight Templar on Saturday. I mashed all the previous names together.

Everybody might as well just call me Smeg or :censored: :censored: of a :censored: - whichever is more amusing.

Might want to think up a new one. I don't see any mention of Smoking Water.

How likely would Elly be to let one change his or her name?

It depends entirely on her schedule. The last two changes I made were by making a new account and letting Freet and DOC know in advance. After creating the new account you need to have Freet or DOC ban the old one.

Then to help everybody know the change has happened, it's a good idea to make a thread about it.

Since I'm from the post-smeg days only, I guess I'm stuck with Sir...

You do realize he'll start thinking we should all highly respect him if you start calling him "Sir"

So, does adding the "Sir" mean we are to expect 10% more:
    fluffy kittens
    bs
    right wing nut-job theories
    durf/poing/boobies
    ??

I'm hoping it equates to more durf/poing/boobies (ok, just the boobies part).

Being a lazy bugger (not wanting to figure it out on my own), how is it you were made a Knight Templar?

From now on, then, I will only say it sarcastically.

First you have to join the Freemasons. To do that, ask on for a petition.
Then you go through the three Masonic degrees.
Then you have to ask for a petition to the York Rite.
Then you have to go through the Royal Arch degrees
Then you have to go through the Cryptic Mason degrees
Then, and only then, do you get to go through the Commandry degrees. The final one ends with you being made a Knight Templar.
Then they stick you in as an officer of the various bodies and put your butt to work.
By December I'll be an officer in 5 different bodies at once.

You must be quite talented. Maybe I should reconsider that whole "not acting on my flirtations" thing:rolleyes:

I was thinking the same thing. In all honesty, I've always been worried about what would happen if I ended up in a situation where I had to deal with more than one body (outside of mine, of course). I can't imagine FIVE. *Shudders*

    Five MASONIC bodies:
    Blue Lodge (basic Masonic lodge)
    Royal Arch Masons
    Cryptic Masons
    Commandry
Order of the Sword of Bunker Hill

Each with it's own separate esoteric rituals.
