Weapon
Faith Matriarchal is much faster than a Faith Grand Matron Bow (GMB), but GMB has more damage, but might have to sacrifice other gears to reach 7fpa.
Armor
Fortitude offers 25-30 resist, but if your resistances are in the negatives use Chains of Honor if needed/wanted as an anticaster.
Helm
Crown of ages provides +1 skill, damage reduced 10-15%, all resistances 20-30, 30% faster hit recovery and has 1-2 open sockets...all essentail for an amazon but this comes at a cost of 174str required which is easily obtainable for enigma users, but with Fortitude user str might become harder to obtain. This comes down to the items and stats points distributed.
You can use Gaint Skull as in alternative as it provides 10% crushing blow, 25-30str, KNOCKBACK, and 1-2 open sockets with 106 str required. Good part about this helm is knockback and sockets useful for ed/ias.
Rare helms could spawn +skill, +stats, +resit, faster run walk (frw), and sockets. I have a rare helm on NL that has +2 zon, +24str, +21dex, +20 frw, +12 resist and not socketed....an overall helm if it "naturally had 2 sockets when identified"
Best Magic Helm for a zon could be 3 open sockets with life and/or 30 frw.
Ammy/Boots
The ammy you choose depends on how many points you invented into Critical Strike (CS) *max i'd prefer* If you have a 50% or less chance of crushing blow then Highlords. If you have a 70% or greater than dont use highlords and opt for Cats Eye. Same thing with Gore Riders, opt for War Travs which increase damage. All depends on you skill distribution. Maxed CS = cats + travs. 50% or < CS = Highlords + Gores.
