    Lacerator Build?

So I found a unique winged axe called the “Laceratorâ€. I was wondering what type of build would use this weapon as I haven’t seen too many of them for trade?

    Thanks!

They are sometimes used as secondary weapons, to trigger Amp and perhaps PMH with them, but I know of no build which uses them as the main weapon.

Indeed there are builds surrounding Lacerator. I think it's throw/frenzy hybrid. Search "Lacerator" in the barb forum and maybe you can find it. I have never tried one but the thing is it appears to me that they need to be eth to be effective, and double throw consume ammo like there's no tomorrow. So I think i won't start one before getting hold on four of eth Lacerator  . It should be fun, I think.

It's an inferior item for an incredibly unpopular build, of course you don't see many for trade.

Which doesn't necessarily mean it couldn't be fun.

My throwing barbarian uses two Lacerator's and two Warshrikes on switch. Maybe it goes against the grain to do this but I don't care, it's fun. I have no problems at all clearing the pit with this setup.

Though it may not be a primary weapon, it sure makes life alot easier on switch for physical immunes and helps on bosses. Has the highest chance to cast amp (33%) on any item -- so much easier than waiting on the 2% ctc on the witchwild sting LOL

Precisely, which makes life easier when using a level 10 double swing to cut down the stragglers that make it to my barbarian. :wink3: Throwing Barabarians may not be popular, but that certainly doesn't mean they aren't viable or fun.
