[L] Qube charms??

I've seen many writing about this, but how does it works???
gives 3 charms in qube 1 random charms or???
why does people use baal charms? (and are these baal charms, charms who baal have droped or just his miniors??)

plz help me on this one

3 perfect gems + a magical item will pick new magical mods on the item.

the lvl of the item is unchanged, so any mods the item could have got,, the item could still get.

only hell baal (and hell nilathik) have a monster lvl high enough to make a small charm capable of getting the 5 highest mods on small charms.
pestilent
shocking
flamming
red
hibernal

(with hell diablo capable of getting 2 of those mods on a small charm
pestilent and flamming i beileve)

and these charms must drop directly from them to have the lvl set to their monster lvl... not some of their minions or buddies

Recipe is : 3p gems+charm =new charm with random mods
(only Ilvl of charm is important here)

Baal and Nihlathak sc's are the ones people use most, since they produce Ilvl 99 and 95 and therefore are able to get the highest elemental mods (Hibernal,Shocking,Pestilent,Flaming)..

-however if your looking for mods like 20life, 5allres, 7%mf etc., it might be better using charms with Ilvl around 61 (starts at NM act5 ice caverns), since then there will be lesser mods to chose from, making these mods more lightly to spawn..

also use this :

Find your desired affix, get its ilvl, then find area in "ilvl hunting places" list

Small Charm Prefix:
Fine: +10-20 To Attack Rating, +1-3 To Maximum Damage (alvl 28, ilvl 42)
Shimmering: +3-5% Resist All (alvl 33, ilvl 47)
Ruby: +10-11% Resist Fire (alvl 40, ilvl 54)
Sapphire: +10-11% Resist Cold (alvl 40, ilvl 54)
Amber: +10-11% Resist Lightning (alvl 40, ilvl 54)
Emerald: +10-11% Resist Poison (alvl 40, ilvl 54)
Serpent's: +13-17 Mana (alvl 48, ilvl 62)
Toxic: +100 Poison Damage Over 5 Seconds (alvl 63, ilvl 77)
Smoking: +4-9 Min, +11-19 Max Fire Damage (alvl 64, ilvl 78)
