[L] Faith in What bow?

The crappiest faith (12 aura) still gives a hell of a lot of increased attack speed from the calculations of the fanaticism aura. A mat needs about 99% IAS to reach 7/2 strafe with faith. I consider that excessive because you can get 8/2 strafe with a faith mat at about 50%. The problem here is that a GMB faith requires a bit more (about 55%) for 8/2 strafe, but it does a lot more average damage. Essentially what i'm saying is that faith gives such insane speed that you should be focused on getting the highest damage on the bow.

i'm facing the same question, so may i add in the discussion?
Is there a cap in ias? if so, how much? 'cause more damage is only good imho if you've reached MAX ias. Because if there's no cap, isn't more speed better then a few points of damage more?

gmb faith = high dmg (94% ias needed for 7 fps with lvl 15 aura)#1St.Jean said:

you can get with a MB more life (as you dont need 45 ias helm) you can use somthing else instead (dont ask wich much choices), most pple prefer GMB as a mav diadem not that expensive and a 120/45 are not as expensive either lately on ladder EU
MB = fast but weak dmg
GMB = strong but less speed

Just to clarify, MB and GMB can have the same maximum speed, the only difference is how much ias they need to achieve it. MB needs less ias so it allows you more equipment options but you do less damage.richo said:
Using Faith GMB at max speed means your helm slot will be either M'avs or edias/life helm but you do more dmg.
Personally I prefer GMB.

Talking about "damage is king", check out this link in the Classic forum . It may be a little different in Classic, but the argument is along the same lines. I thought you would find it interesting.
