    kuko's explosive dmg

    alright people i got a question. Whats the deal with kuko's explosive dmg. How much dmg does it do. Is it good? what works with it (crushing blow? deadly strike? chance to cast, elemental dmg, etc.)

    On the Arreat's Summit under Kuko it lists: Fires Explosive Arrows Or Bolts [Level 7]. If "explosive" is the same as exploding arrow, then lvl 7 exploding arrow will do 32-36 fire damage. I believe this same damage will affect anything in within the blast range. Crushing blow, critical strike, chance to cast, and elemental dmg etc. will all still work because you are still doing physical damage. Kuko's explosive arrows quality merely enchants your attack with the power of level 7 explosive arrow.

    The original poster may have to ask Kirsty this (all powerful person of amazon knowledge) but i believe that the exploding arrow if it pierces carries other attributes such as crushing blow. The same thing goes for demon machine.

    In 1.10 they made a few changes and the only thing that is added in the fire blast is fire damage from gear. Crushing blow, prevent monster heal, "cast on hit" triggers, knockback, freeze, blind, flee... they now only work on the arrow hit and not on the blast effect (such a pity).

    Do you mean that the monster that is actually hit by the exploding arrow will still experience these mods? Or do you mean that only non-fire arrow attacks hitting a monster can trigger these mods? Thanks in advance.

    Because as we all know kuko was such a horribly overpowered bow (extreme saracsm spewing out every orifice)

    Only if the arrow itself hits the monster will the extra mods trigger but for that monster only. Monsters hit by the exploding blast are only effected by the fire damage from the explosion itself.
    Fire explosion damage equals the level of the skill + fire damage from gear.


    Although you make it a sarcastic comment you were in fact very much correct. Kuko was quite overpowering due to the previous exploding blast bonuses. I found it best applicable for most of the subclass builds and highly advocated its usage.
