So, up the Bloody Foothills for all tonight...all being Masa, Tika, Kretsc and myself as zrk & waflob are indisposed...should be fun...be more fun when we all all together as a team again!

Bottom of page 7 Tika...work reared it's ugly head for waflob...speaking of surprises, as i detailed in the update from last week's session i have a mule with a bunch of rares and stuff on it including that Raven Claw for you Tika so when we are all assembled at the start of the sesh i will bust out the mule in act 1 of the usual game and people can take their pick of what they need...
Actually, since I was so happy about killing diablo I didn't notice myself killing shenk and eldricht and getting that wp.. ah well, I'll tag along on the way up :grin:
(closest to being dead: around 13 hp from diablos red lightning of doom and darkness)

Baal went down for us; good times.
yesterday we had a real fun session with the 4 of us.
i was there quite a bit early, and started with a nice chat with our assa. soon our ama turned up, who needed to still finish act 3, and the whole of act 4. so we fired up a game, and soon were whopping mephys bottom. at the start of act 4 our pala also entered the realms and helped with clearing act 4... and of cource diablo didnt give anything usefull at all.
just about when we were ready with the HF our assa turned up again, he needed a break for dinner etc. so with 4 of us we were ready for act 5.
before that some stuff earlyer found in this KTA session, but muled out because of lack of storage space,was muled back in a bit. i did get a ravenclaw from that... and the "fires explosive arrows" mod realy makes a HUGE difference.
so we ran out... doing OKish damage.. with enchant adding about 60ish average. soon we cleared the hills, and ran on. we rescued anya... and somewhere on the way i turned lvl 30. i had waited for this point with great anticipation... why you ask? well... i had saved 5 points, and invested 1 into fire mastery and the others in enchant. besides that i made my Leaf staff, in a +3 enchant baby i shopped earlyer. so turning lvl 30 made a difference of 10 lvls enchant and a lvl 4 fire mastery. after that our dmg was so darn high we could toast everything and anything in sight!
we killed ancients... in the middel of which we got a connection interupted for all players... (scary) all went well however and we ran onto baal. he was dead soon, and rests with his minions.
we did 2 more baalruns, and i think we ended up around lvl 34~35ish.
best finds i can remember were: tarnhelm, nokozans relic and a nice rare ring. in total there were quite some uniques in the entire evening, aldough none came from an end boss. with tarnhelm and all skillpoints invested enchant is now adding over 500 dmg average... which made baalruns a breeze.

That is a good write-up there Tika...i would have some piccies of us smacking the Ancients down (me, my shadow and merc owned Talic!) and smacking Baal down to accompany it but my computer wouldn't let me upload them last night :sad2:
After the last Baalrun i ran the Chaos Sanctuary (the Enchant wore off 1/2 way through the River of Flame :banghead: ) and was surprised at the ease of it...even Diablo went down easy! (but dropped diddly-squat!)
I left off at level 35 (nearly 36) ready for when i get back from Poland; i'm leaving this Friday and coming back Sunday the 1st July so i'll be just in time for the next session on the 2nd but no time to catch up in between :undecided: I might do a few baalruns this week or something to catch up level-wise before i go so i'm not toooo far behind...should i make a start on Nightmare or just level? Let me know what you guys think!

Sorry to bump (i would have edited my previous post but the forums went down for service as i clicked 'submit'!) but i realised why Diablo went down so quick...my new 'Edge' bow!
The Prevent Monster Heal and massive ED% to Demons is what must have tipped the scales in my favour and couple that with the 35% IAS and lvl 19 (with buff claw :laugh: ) BoS i'm pinging out arrows at insane speeds! The Thorns aura even helped my swarmed merc and Shadow at the best of times i'd say...first time i've ever used this runeword and i recommend it for low level use...i'll post a screenie later i think...

we should be able to make more edges soon... it is a very nice RW for our lvl.
about the catching up... i suggest you just lvl.
why?
before entering NM we will have to lvl a bit... as lvl 40 for all is reccomanded. this being said i think next session will be first some baalruns... and then maybe act 1 of NM.
that should be REALY easy to catch up within 5 minuts (with some help and wp's of cource).
so if you see chance to make some baalruns go for it... see if you can get lvl 40ish or the like.

Hi guys,
glad you had fun playing. I really wish I had been there.
It appears that the ladder will be resetting on Monday, so we might not be able to play anyway. Even if we log on after the reset, do we really want to play non-ladder? I know I don't.
Here's a suggestion:
Why not knock this on the head until after the summer holidays and then start a new group? That way, we won't have the summer holiday causing people to be missing and we'll have some ladder chars to start.

Yeah man that's a good idea...when shall we say is the new time to restart? zrk is away for 2 months and you are away for nearly that so maybe say start of August? Gives me time to get started on the ladder HC...annoyed that the ladder reset is 3 days into my holiday!!
Anyone who wants to party up outside of KTA and beat the ladder PM me...thinking a well balanced party will be able to scale the ladder no probs...
