I'm starting my paladin now, getting to level 18 using only a bow, this might be hard solo but it's worth it. is this 9:30 london time?

I was wondering if the attack "vengeance" works with bows, anyone know the answer? If so i'll be a fana/vengeance bowdin.

It's a 5 hours difference between where I am and London, which, if it's 9pm where you are, it's 4pm where I am.

If it's quicker to melee your way to catch up, then by all means, please do. You will find it very hard going otherwise. Alternatively, you could just join pubby trist runs and then it doesn't really matter.

According to AS, it adds to melee attacks, so that would be a 'no' to that question. However, AS has been known to state misleading (or just wrong) information before, so I'd prefer to wait for independant confirmation.

As far as I can remember, Vengeance is melee only, this is from experience, since I don't read skill descriptions anywhere else

Bummer indeed man...would have been nice to have a USofA in on it and unite HC around the world!

Just to clarify, we start at 6:30pm London (Greenwich Meridian) time and finish at 9-9:30ish max...thats 7:30 to 10-10:30ish max for the majority of the KTA as (at the moment) i am the only English guy...

to bad venguance wont work with bows... just like zeal with a bow would rock the place.... or how about conversion?

i am afraid i wont be able to make it next monday guys... i might be able to join late... but atm i have no certainties about anything... i will keep you informed.

please by all means just continue.. i will catch up.. no probs there.

of cource help in that department IS welcome... not only because it is faster and safer... it is also way more fun. keep that ranger you got, we will find a time to play.. (prolly near the end of next week or the weekend after that.)

it will only take me a few lvl's to be pretty powerfull on my own... i got enchant at lvl 1 now... and once its 3 or 4 more lvl's up it will start to work pretty well.. (at least in low playernumber games).

P.S. If we decide it's getting silly in NM/Hell or just had no luck weapon-wise then recently when running NM Meph looking for a Trangs Wing i have found some stuff that will be useful to us KTA-wise i would have usually thrown (Wizendraw for Masa...only 24% in a 20-35% range but hey, better than nowt, a Raven Claw for Tika and a Buri for anyone, probably Masa again!) which we can blag...

Just something to point out, i think passion wouldnt be a very reasonable runeword since for roughly the same runes you can get treachery, which is extremely useful.

As expected from the previous posts, the attendance was 'meagre', meaning that only zrk and myself were there. We waited around for a while and then decided to take the chars from the previous kta and see if we could progress them a little further.

We got up to the last WP in act 3, with the odd nde or 3. Was still fun though.
The good news is that there is no catching up to be done by you all. The bad news for me is that I won't be there next week, as I'll be away for work for a few days. Looks like I'll be the one catching up.

on my part i had a very pleasant evening, and it was "way" to late to join you guys when i was finaly able to... actualy i wasnt able to anything anymore at that moment, being tired as if i ran the marathon that day.

but did you guys play?
where did you end up?

i will try playing to catch up this week, probably tonight a little bit, thursday a little, and the rest in the weekend.

You're just thinking of the 'Lem' dude which granted won't be in a steady supply but it depends what weapon options we will have and whether or not we need to fill the the weapon or armour slot but yeah i see you point :tongue: (in my case it's a mixed bag; i will like the +skillz and the speed but not the chance to trigger fade as i'll be running BoS and luckily the Venom [slvl 15] will not override my maxed one...hmm...maybe i should if i get the Lem...:laugh: )

To all the KTA-ers, my apologies, my better (and more dangerous) half was working in the morning and commandeered me for the rest of the day n night so no chance of DII buuuuut i guess we will all (minus waflob :cry: ) be on it next Monday eh?!
