Hi guys, I just read through this topic, and this is just what I'm looking for 
And now for a small introduction on this Masa:
I registred to the forums just to post in here. Me and some friends usually do these runs in singleplayer/LAN on players 8 (regardless of our numbers) and I'm very interested in joining you the next round, which should be soon considering you're in hell act1/2.
I've been playing diablo both on and off the realms since the week D2C was released, had a 1-2 year break and got into it again last month.
I hate cheats. I have never used MH, and normally tries to PK MH users, and that's about all the PK I do :wink3:
I'll keep an eye on this topic and might be able to join you at the end of the month, if that's ok with you
I just have 2 problems, one being school, I'm extremely busy up to the 20th or so of May, hence the later joining. And I can't find my D2 CDs. I'm not using the "proper" version at the moment, so I can't come on the realms to speak to you there. I'll do my best to find the CDs, and when I do I'll have to create a new account, the old ones seems to have expired.

welcome to the forums. The name sounds more Japanese than Swedish (to me anyway)
Anyway, please keep an eye on the state of progress and feel free to post in the next recruitment drive. Can't say for sure when it will be, but you seem to have a good idea yourself

I'll be following this thread with great interest, and I'll join as soon as possible, when you guys start anew and/or I've found my CD, whatever happens first, I might even have to buy a new copy of it, though it's dirt cheap I guess

if you dont find them... yes indeed... DII and the expension set should be *very* cheap in stores... if you manage to still find them that is... :shocked:
of cource you are welcome to join us next round! (or even this if you can make that). it should be only some weeks away from us.
if you want to have something fun to do in the meantime, try thinking of a good "theme" for our next round party... make it as crazy as you can think 1.

If I don't find the game in store I bet a friend wouldn't mind giving his keys away, plenty of my friends have the game but doesn't play anymore.
Hmm as for next round, a crazy theme you say? Void of all that's cookie cutting I'm guessing... but I really like cookies, choclate chip ones mmmm.
I don't even know the current cookiecutters, guessing frenzybarb and the dreaded hammerdin, I hate those bad excuses of holy warriors, throwing tools at people.
Also, does this "theme" have to be consistence through all chars, or can there be one or 2 off theme, and are they supposed to manage hell, also I'm guessing we'll fill a whole game, 8 players, is that correct?

well... with just 3 people present and about half of act 2 done in a whole evening i was a bit disappointed about yesterday.
at this moment i am tempted to stop with this round... and start a new 1 with some fresh blood in it. it looks to me like we will need it.
what do you think about this guys?

I have to apologize guys but yesterday was a 'Bank Holiday' in England and like hell my g/f was gonna let me play on my computer all day when the sun is shining and there was plenty going on (Crafty Raft race, [self-built water craft racing down the local river!] Spiderman 3 @ Cinema, Pool, Beer, Curry etc etc) and as i was not near a computer all weekend i couldn't post to inform you all so again, apologies...i see no reason (*touches wood to avoid jinxing) why i won't be on the coming Monday so let's finish Hell in a hurry and get on with the Mega-Party we have coming...just to put this forward...i've always wanted to do a...

well... i like the main idea. some things could be filled in differnently, how in @*&%$ for example could you forget might? and defiance? :grin:
main problem with all characters from the same class going UNtwinked is items. it is likely we wont find enough pala items, and all nice items that we find but are only usefull on other caracters are useless.

Might and Defiance again come from Mercs...apologies as i left that out but thought it was obvious! Then again, we don't really want to rely on Mercs...
I'm well aware we won't find enough items to cover all the Pala's but it's a challenge! Could be worth a laugh...if it really doesn't work we abandon it but hey, it was just an idea...not saying we have to commit...
I like the idea with an all paladin team, the problems aside..
We have some more time to think though, unless you guys abandon the current run (please don't, I need atleast next monday too)
And I got delightful news on the CD, my friend is willing to give up his key, it could be mine for all we know anyway :afro:

if we continue this run... i think we should decide about this after next monday.
and about the theme:
i have also been thinking about a bowusing team only. of cource some ama's, but also pala,s a druid and a sorc maybe, and who knows what strange bow using builds there are.
even better would be to make an ALL AMA team, with ALL having strafe as a main attack skill. IMAGINE the arrows :sunny: . immunitys would be solved with secondary attack skills.
but all in all there are dozens of nice themes....
if we continue this run... i think we should decide about this after next monday.

All Archers would be fun, but there's also that thing with weapons... everyone will try to hog the best bows with that theme, I'm going Fanati pala then, or a pala anyway (favourite class :wink2: )

Damn! I should pay attention to my rootz as i just got pw0n3d by Masahiro!
I wanted to do my Holy Fire pala, reason being i use HF is for the ultimate crowd control that comes with the splash on Kuko but we will be untwinked so it won't be a good idea to build around hoping to find that bow!

I'll twink this one so hard it'll be a breeze up to hell at least, then I'll see... the barb was my MF char so I had gotten some nice items (thanks to ATMA for muling) I'll see if I manage to lvl it up again before your next round start.

whenever the subject of themes comes up, I usually get my 'sorcs dating necros' idea out.
Basically, you have 3 single tree sorcs, together with a summoner, a boner and a poisoner. One of each of the act 2 merc and you're set. This gives you one highly synergised source of each damage type, as well as the mercs. If you really can't manage without BO, then add a barb as chaperone
The only problem with this is that you really need 6 (or 7) people to commit to it and not get fed up after a few sessions. I don't see it ever happening, but that doesn't stop me wondering what it would be like.

Interesting idea but it does seem like it would be awfully laggy(at least on a sub par computer like mine). Skels, poison spells, frozen orbs, meteors, chain lightnings.
