The usual problem with a freezon in the team is that the necro summoner / barb hork ho tend to

a) find the shattering bodies an inconvenience, or
b) harp on non-stop and generally moan like Marvin from Hitch-hiker's Guide

As we don't have either of these chars in the current setup, there should be no problems there. Also, we would have a use for all those 1-2 cold damage small charms.

For cold immunes, immo is good. I think that's then called something like a magezon. That's what my Mavina girl uses, to good effect as well. Now that I've praised her to the skies, she is certain to die on the next outing ...

The most important criterion is to choose a char that you will enjoy playing (obvious really, but sometimes overlooked). Other than that, what Tika said makes a lot of sense as well.

I used Immo on my last incarnation of Dino/Magezon but this time i decided to try Exploding Arrow and i like the spammable (no timer delay) crowd controlling explosion and for dual immunes i have a Titan's on switch with poison & Light Fury so i can cover any elemental damage! (deja-vu post...think i said this in the 'Zon forum :grin: )

I use her to baalrun my m8's in NM and at first they are scared (oh, no, a non-cookie cutter...she'll get us killed!) but the build is designed for safety as everything is held stock-still (a pack of Extra Fast Extra Strong Frenzytaurs ran towards us, i cast Decoy, stood my ground and just wailed on em...they don't chill in WSK2 but they still went down in a coupla shots!) for ages...Listers minions box him in so he gets smacked up by splash dmg!

An underestimated build...sucks mana like NOOOO tomorrow tho!

thats a pretty nice build.. although the idea of this round of kta was to use non-cookiecutter builds.. so perhaps you might want to use some more wackier skills rop:

i like the freeze/fire arrow build MUCH better then the freeze / lighting combo.

2 reasons:
it is much less cookiecutter, and lightning fury will cause lag. i even heard story's that a good LF trow is enough to drop you from the game since the recent changes in lag handling server side.

your mana problem will be solved with insight... wich we should have next session.

moost important thing is to get a real fast bow, and then make it even faster with some sheals or so.
second important thing is pierce... get lots of that.

i think it will be a fun and safe build, you wont regret it.

p.s.2. i like the second skillplan you wrote, except for 1 thing... the 1 in all passives is OK, except for pierce... wich REALY deserves more points.

I havent managed to start her yet, was going to last night with MrKaxe but I was too shattered. Tonight i've already had to change plans as some relatives are over.

Might have to be a mad dash weekend to get ready for monday.

All additional points will do into pierce, or ill add before maxing synergies if I feel I need it.

you should add some points there quite early on... certainly the first few points increase your dmg output by a lot.

a point in the main dmg skill only increases the dmg a little bit, and ONLY for that skill.
a point in pierce makes the chance of doing double dmg higher, since both your bowskills splash. and it does that not only for the main skill (freeze arrow), but also for the fire arrow skills. and then still the party aint over... since there is also a chance for a 3th a 4th and even more hits with a single arrow.

i have played many freezazons in the past, and as you will know, multiple hits with a single arrow are quite common... and the fun only realy begins when hunting cows :wink2:
my best FA zon was actualy an amazing good cowkiller... i just hearded them into MASSIVE groups, and with my 100% chance to pierce (capped at 95% i think, but still) a single arrow hitted so many times that even 1 shot did amazing dmg. combine that with a real fast bow and you know what we are talking about.
