When I put the wrong runes in an item, I just call Blizzard and have them turn it into a new runeword. C'mon guys, Ber Mal Ber Ist - you think that wasn't the result of a drunken night's messing around in the stashes?

I have to vent somewhere, even if it means bumping this thread.

I have a Gemmed Flail, I managed to socket it with Ko Vex Thul.

I had two eth colossus blades in my stash, one 5os one 6os. Was making a death runeword and I had a brain fart and stuck the ort in the 6os cb after i'd put the other runes in the 5os one.

No big loss, just needed a hel and another ort to fix it. But it was definitely annoying :p

Wow dudes. I usually write the runes and weap required before doing a runeword to avoid mistakes.

But my biggest mistake was making BOTD on a 5 socketed sword. I had both a 6 s and a 5 s sword and i put out the wrong sword in the stash and voila, runes wasted.

Kidding me? Does that work?

Think ima stand a chance when i had completed half act 1 hited from level 68 to almost 72 by slaying to many mobs and get dced(Connection Interrupted) in black marsh tower level 4 starting a new game and suddenly im in act 1 at lvl 68 again with no wps taken?

Pretty cool that the land was pitch black and the mobs stoped moving. I almost cried for gods sake, Blizzard.

This was in real bnet-.-

Really deeply sorry about this, watching these two posts near eachother like this makes me embarrassed, lol!

Sumsum please stop with the multiple successive postings, you can multi quite posts using the + button and you can edit any post of yours to add or remove content.

I've never failed at making a runeword in the correct order.

But I did try to make a spirit in a flail not long ago LOL

Not a big loss though :)

I don't think I've ever messed up rune order, but I did use the wrong weapon once. I think I tried to make a Steel runeword in a scepter or something, so it wasn't a big loss at all.

Yeah, I've put gems into socketables by mistake, but I've never screwed up a runeword or accidentally dropped a rune into a socketable.

(If you are moving good runes around, try to keep the drop area away from socketables...)
