Kingslayer Question

I'm going to start a enchantess... and i'll use a Kingslayer as weapon, for vengence boosted with masterys.

So I got a doubt... what weapon would be the best for it?

Berserker axe?
Phase Blade?
War Spike?
Feral axe?

please help me with that...

Every enchantress seems to prefer Cryptic, though why I do not know...
There's like billions of enchantress guides in Dii.net so why don't you check them out? :spy:

Go with phase blade. the physical damage of a cryptic sword is not enough to balance out the speed of the phase blade IMHO. anyway u should be doing 10k fire dmg!

Cryptic Sword all the way, you will be maxing all your Masteries to make Vengengance useful and why would you use a Crpytic Sword then? Because Venegance is calculated from your base physical damage! You need that to be as high as possible.
Maybe Phase Blade can compensate for that extra damage.

i have an enchantress using Kingslayer in a Glorious Axe (yes, i know, no shield). she does NASTY dmg and the lack of a shield can be compensated by a good Energy Shield. with decent equipment and high warmth (synergy for Enchant anyway) you're able to survive.

So I for myself traded Damage over safety but it's just me and I just want to show you another possible way ;)

i would use balrog blade or glorious axe becouse:

A) you look cool
B) you get high damage

Shields are so ugly, but unfortunately, good :cheesy: , but who cares about survavibility anyway?

Actually I think that would be the smartest way to make a ES sorc, cuz ES not effected by resi or def, right?

You will get very minor dam to life with hi ES, and what's the point of maxed resi and 10k def if the dam itself is too low anyways?

For a Werebear Sorc a Kingslayer Phase Blade is 3 frames faster than a Kingslayer Cryptic Sword, according to the IAS calculator, so definitely go Phase.

Mine is in a Phase Blade, which is indestructible, and I'm currently using a Griz Caduceus, which needs to be repaired every few runs; so how often do you have to repair a Kingslayer Cryptic Sword?

With a shield you block 75% of physical attacks, but you do waaaayyyy less dmg with a 1H weapon than with a big axe, so the fights are shorter and therefore you recieve lesser attack ;). I do around 7-9k dmg IIRC with very good equipment. The nice thing about Kingslayer is, that you'll improve your damage all the way to lvl 99 (if you ever reach taht lvl). Plus you'll have one thing, you cannot get with a 1H sword: STYLE Points :D there's nothing cooler but a cute little girl swinging an enormous Axe (and she's faster than you think ;))
