    Kids these days...

So, I have a certain player on my f list. I added him because I rushed him for forge once, and he was honest about everything. I figured I could help him out from time to time when he needed it, including more rushes.

He has the habit of broadcasting everything to his entire f list, which was already starting to irritate me, but I just lived with it. Then he said something like "i cant figur out how 2 use maphack". I replied simply "good. don't use it."

I leave a character in a game and go eat a taco or something (I was hungry), and come back greeted by a plethora of messages from him (account name has been concealed to protect the ignorant; remember to read from bottom to top on the logs):

    Part 1

    Part 2

I've since gotten him to remove me from his f list, so I suppose I won't have to deal with his antics any more (though this one was pretty entertaining).

Just goes to show you people shouldn't use hacks.
    Very interesting/humorous read.

More proof that the average d2 b.net player is a cheating brainless kid

I love it so much when people get screwed by that little program. It's like IM or Thorns; you try to attack (or in this case, hack), and it "attacks" you instead.

Yup, here too, although you people made me very curious.

"Cannot find server" blah blah... might be bandwidth related?

I'm getting that gateway error too now. The image host's servers are most likely down. Going to have to try again later.

    Part 2

Quality's a bit lower to comply with filesize limit, but still readable.

Thanks, Oscuro, those links work... Hmm, but it might have been better that I didn't see it after all. Now I'm all depressed again. :)

Yeah, cheers for sorting linky. :) Stupid idiot deserved everything he got!

That's one of the main reasons I have never cheated in my D2 career, the fear of losing all my items/accounts. I think if I lost all my stuff (4 years plus worth, or whatever it is now since it came out), I would give up on the game entirely. I couldn't go back to scratch and still have the enthusiasm for it still...

It's only because I dont play all the time since I moved house that I probably play at all these days anyway. I was starting to get bored of it playing every night. Now I only play 2 or so times a week its become fun again!
