Kicksin Equip Q's

Hi all, this is my first time posting on this forum but I have lurked around for about a year. I had grown bored with cookie cutters and so made a furysin, who gets a lot of laughs in baal runs until my cb wacks baal, but now I'm in to kicking things around. Im planning on goin talon/venom but after that im undecided. I have read the stickied guides and Ilkori's(if i mispelled it my bad) but still have some questions since she will be my last char this ladder.
OK enough blah blah here we go:
Helm: Guilliames(does anyone ever spell this right?)
Armor: COH arcon or dusk duress
Ammy: Maras for res or what?
Rings: Raven and Bk 5ll :D
Boots: Upped Gores
Gloves: Dracs
Wep: I have eth stormlash, fleshripper, crescent moon, azurewrath, and can get most rws. This is where my main problem is because I want to go c/s but the guides have soooo many wep choices(which is in no way a bad thing.)
Shield: SS or what?
I also have a crappy anni i think 13 all res
Also any socketing help would be nice
Any input is highly appreciated.

If you're planning to play pvm only, forget venom -- just stick a point into it. Most monsters in hell have high natural resistance to poison (for example, the Minions of Destruction have like 95% poison resistance, even if it's not displayed). There are other skills (offensive such as dtail/tiger) or defensive (fade, shadow master) that will be more helpful for a pure pvm player.

As for weapons... remember that your weapon speed will affect your kick speed, so when trying out runewords, think of speed versus damage (war spike, phase blade, caduceus).

I like Crescent Moon -- Static Field is a very nice mod that will compensate for the limited damage we do, and it's also absurdly cheap.

If runes/resources are no object, I'll list what my lvl 94 melee sin uses: Last Wish in a Phase Blade (no IAS, but you can't beat 60-70% Cb) and the Might Aura, Phoenix Monarch (Redemption will mean you'll never need a leech source), and an A1 Rogue with a Faith Bow. With the fanaticism aura, all I need is 20IAS from my gear (I use crafted blood gloves) to reach the fastest attack breakpoint for Tiger and Talon. (I don't bother trying for the fastest Dtail attack since I only use it on three Tiger charges)

Ultimately, I think your choice of gear will be dependent on resources and playing style, but after trying quite a few different options, I settled on the Last Wish/Phoenix combo -- not cheap, but effective, imho.

Cheers
