    Keeping this spirit (or reroll?)

Yesterday I made my first spirit ever, in the following shield:

    Kurast Shield
    192defense (11ed = 172*1.11, and 172 is max for a kurast shield)
    20 all res

    From the spirit-runeword i got
    29 fcr (25-35, little low:sad2: )
    112 mana (89-112, so max)
8 magic absorb (3-8, again max)

Now I was wondering... Would 35 / 89 / 3 be worth more than this one? Should I go for 35fcr no matter what? I know the chances of getting that mana and magic absorb are very small, but most people ONLY want 35fcr, to reach breakpoins more easy..

Ofcaurse I could save my other spirit sets and wait till I find (or trade) a better shield with 40+ all res.

    Need some advice here!

Well, unless that extra 6fcr would make u hit the next break point I wouldn't bother with it.

If you need it for a build and helps you get to the fcr bp you desire than keep it this way. If you wanna make profit start rolling in a 40+ res one or in a monarch until you roll 35. I wouldnt try rolling a 35 fcr one in your shield as even if you get one, no one would ever buy it because they need more res on it.

Btw you should only care about fcr, the rest is for rich, perf-stat-item-crazy people.

Hel + Tp in the Cube, and all the runes are gone and items is "refreshed".

Same as for charms (Only GC's?), 3 Pgems + Gc = rerolled GC.

I will just keep it then, since my pally is using some stupid shield (i think the ward or something, still using that from my classic period a couple of weeks ago)
As for the BP... I have to check his fcr, and compare it, to see if I should to get a couple of more %... probably not

EDIT: Thx for you very fast answers:thumbsup:

Any standard magic item can be re-rolled in this manner. (I do sc's looking for lifers/all res/mf with mods.)

Spirit is ladder only. There are spirits on nonladder cause of reset.

The most wanted spirit would be a 15ed sacred targe with 45 resists. If you have such a shild reroll it till 35fcr and 100+ mana. Mdr is only important for es sorcs and this is a pally shild.
A 15 ed monarch is the optimum for non paladins but not as rare.

For getting rich with selling an item you need a rich buyer and they aren't intressted in a 22er kurastshild anyway.

I would go like nolan16 mentioned.

All my Spirit shields are rerolled until I get 35% FCR. The runes are so cheap, that it's better to do it while the Ladder is still active. The resell value in NL will be much higher  !

    i agree with Frosty
reroll it til your 34-35fcr, youll get alot more for it on nl after reset
extra mana (only varies by 23) and mdr dont do much imo

You can cross-trade [NL] Ists for [L] Ists. Even with a 2:1 ratio, it's very profitable early in the Ladder season  !

People like Frosty are granting that after this ladder resets there will be enough spirits on nonladder for all. So the value of lower shilds will decraese I assume. I like this fact.

If you plan on using it your self on nonladder aim for the 35fcr, but it's not easy to unsock a 34er, if it's your only shild. Unless you have an account full of such runes.

Personally I woud let it be.

If ya wanna earn some profit you have to unsock a 34 for one, because as always, perf stats ask for more runes.

Is there an "easy" way to find 4s (non pally) shields?, even if i have to use socket quest just curious if they can only be found in hell (right?) and any certain acts?

Just kill a boatload of monsters and hope a suitable shield pops out. If it's a white one, use Larzuk to socket it.

Only a monarch can have four sox. Hell Council Members have a drop ratio about 1/900 with zero mf and solo play. Hell Cows about 1/5000 with zero mf and soloplay. Farming for them somewhere else is not really efficient but farming for them isn't nessesary at all. Just play and keep your eys open.

Monach's only can be found on hell difficulty since it's ilvl72. Larzuk allways makes four holes in it.
