Keepable Runes to sell to the crafter guys?

Hello all! I'm trying to come up with a new way of wealth creation for a semi-new diablo player like myself. I think that one problem that I've had is that, even when I find something sellable in a mf run, my first thought is "yay, I can use this on X." With about a dozen other character builds I want to try out, I don't see this changing any time soon.

But I don't plan on crafting any time in the near future, so I'm going to start collecting all my PRubies, PAmthysts, and junk jewels and just trade them in for Puls once I get enough. But what runes should I keep? Anyone know what are the most highly sought? And are there lower runes (that I have been cubing up) that I should really stash away? Or to put it another way, are there runes that are always practically worthless except for cubing up, even those that might have use in sockets like Amns or runewords? Thanks!

The most common crafting rune by far is Ral, which is used for caster amulets. Other worthwhile runes are Sol (blood rings), Nef (blood gloves), and sometimes Ith (caster belt, though this is less popular now due to Arachnid Mesh). People also craft hit power gloves for knockback, though I don't know the rune in that recipe off the top of my head.

Amn, Ort, Ral are good ones to collect. Just about any of the low runes in that area in bulk are useful to someone.

Look up crafting recipies, the most common crafter recipies are:
Blood Gloves, Blood Ring, Blood Amulet
Caster Ring, Caster Amulet

That's a good place to start. You can also trade all your non ruby and amethyst pgems away for runes also for people who have the charm rolling addiction.

Thanks guys. This helps a lot. I think I'd fill up mules so fast keeping everything, but it sounds as if it'd be fairly efficient to cube up Els through Tirs into Nefs, Eths through Tals into Rals, and Thuls into Amns. With any luck I should be making a few posts soon!

I was wondering if it is possible to craft caster boots. If so, does anyone know the recipe?

FCR, no; it cannot spawn on boots, ever.

Resists are definitely possible. In fact, I find rare boots to be a great way of picking up resists, and you can get the same mods on crafted boots.
