Just pimped my Desktop!

Awesome Zelda Theme I made. Photoshopped the background myself and downloaded the icons. I'm using Vista and the cool Mac-style dock is RocketDock. Anyone else got some really awesome, creative desktops?

My desktop's pretty uncreative. I used to use a load of object dock type desktop software but have since optimised my aging laptop for speed, I don't even both with AV software anymore. This is mine, art from http://konjak.org/

I don't actually like yours tbh, big triforce+wings thing just doesn't look sharp enough at that size which contrasts with the far cleaner banner, also the icons are stylistically really inconsistent which would bug me, personally I'd check out deviant art and see if I could find a bunch of good coherent images to turn into icons.

i use this one as a wallpaper

this has been the most easy on my eyes out of all the backgrounds i tried..., i recommend mildly bright backgrounds for anyone else who stares at his desktop for a high amount of time

I think that would hurt my eyes after a while. I prefer darker, more neutral backgrounds.

I agree. I decided I needed to tweak the background so I got back to work and here it is now:



Infinitely better now, in my opinion.
