It might have even been both draculs and exile - life tap triggers on almoast every hit and good (but lame) smiters do get a hit every now and then...You need to hope you will be able to clip him to death. WW passively, let him get cocky and make mistakes. No idea about doom - I don't have one :wink3: make your wws random ofc - if there is a pattern he will tele smite exactly where you are. What whas the name/acc of the smiter? (you play Europe ladder right?)

yes i play scl eu hes name was wac-lotter or something like that

i did a random wws but he was good at tele smites i just never lost to any smiter in long duel but he 4;2 me who knows meybe i would won in long duel but he usually won thx too lt , maybe high ping also affected on it coz i sometimes had s static wws which was like death for me (i usualy loose lots of life and got tapped)

ps u play scl eu also ? If yes what char and maybe we can duel some

in cases like this i use dooms and any smiters is a gg

i think your barb isn't well equiped or built enough (lvl not high enough) or you were doing something wrong. I don't see how a telesmiter even witht he help of aa/gmod and all the other cheats out can beat a barb if you just keep doing long wws. no smiter ever came close to beating my barb in a 1on1 fight.
try using angelics, chant and bo prebuff.

7.4k life atm 25k ar with coa 50%dr and grief+beast (34/389 grief) i had lag tho and stucked sometimes in static ww i think that was the problem ;/

something being "bm" or not isn't the problem here, you can't expect someone not to use an exceptionally good item just because you consider it to be "bm".

But it's more fun when it's harder? Of course you could just try fooling the smiters by saying something like "oh, you cannot win without lifetap, nice ctc build", and that'll get them mad. Usually they will just shut up.

Good desynch+telesmiters, such as Goldwrap, use Grief PB, which results in your dooms being useless. Also, no, the range doesn't really matter when the opponent either teles to the ends of your whirls or isn't visible for half of the duel.

Won't work, good smiters will charge you to death once you switch. Also the amount you regain is small, due to your damage being small.

-doom vs ba smiter.

Without mass str you cannot use Grief+CoA+Doom, which results in Beast+Doom+CoA, aka crap dmg. Also, how can you tell what they are using if they're str bugged?

-beast vs pb (its easy to outrange them).

Outranging doesn't matter for ****s if your opponent telesmites or desynchs. Apparently your friends are not that "skilled", since you didn't even lose to them. A godly barb is equal to a godly smiter. I think Goldwrap vs. Morotsjos proves this quite well. IIRC Mat said he's about 50/50 with Karol as long as he doesn't use clegs, if he uses clegs he's 60/40. Or something like that. But of course, Goldie improves a lot. Too bad he quit. But he still plays sometimes.

Im almoust sure you lose only couse of static ww's. "little" lag makes huge difference in this duel.

let me join the club - I just got raped 4:0 vs a tele smiter - sure, life tap saved him twice but still, some people are very skilled - there are no excuses :laugh: Maybe I should try cleglaw's since I don't have dooms. That was both frustrating and motivating I need some practice :wink3:

Mike, let me give you a VERY cheap tactic:

Use the amplified damage damage on gravel of pain, or decreptify charges on spellsteal.

Guarantee you easy wins...
